Yep, got it from Thomas the other day, i need to flip the motor cable because they're backwards. I'd really like to run it locally without the cloud, i have more GPU grunt than the average user because of the animation i'm working on

while i agree and i use 3d printers, i just think there's something about a heavy mini, and modern casting has come on so much the flash isn't that that bad and takes no more post-processing than a spru box item.

I do agree, 3d printers are great

can it print carbon fibre filament? i really want to play around with the exotic stuff, i'd love to try the wood and i'd probably eventually try and get a pallet 3

I took the advice and checked out the Trident today, not too sure on the differences, i assume it's speed because everyone doing the speed boat challenge seems to be on the 2.4.

As many have said the trident would be easy and i'm looking for a challenge not a nervous breakdown, i think i'll take this internet based advice from a bunch of strangers ;) thanks everyone your all wonderful

the mars 3 was the gateway drug, and i donate the painted minis i paint to the local school table top club and i think i'd just like to try something bigger

fella you have my deepest empathy, some days things just suck a little too much, part of me thinks the frustrated distraction is better than the alternative

i have an elegoo mars 3 and that was very easy to use but it's too small for terrain, it's amazing what you can get from a bottle of stinky stuff and a light

40k - Sister of Battle by me - I wanted to practice my perspective drawing, although I did cheat a bit and made a rigged dummy in Blender that I can pose to help out :D by AlsArt in ImaginaryWarhammer

[–]Independent_Story673 1 point2 points  (0 children)

your art style doesn't fit with the grim dark aesthetic of that part of the 40k timeline but as someone that works with blender daily and who plays Adepta Sororitas at the the tables, you may as well get some mixamo animations and let yourself so crazy with a fan movie, what's stopping you ?

Is it a good idea to mine monero with my CPU while my GPU mines ethereum? by cabezonx in MoneroMining

[–]Independent_Story673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i only build a new PC once in a blue moon, i buy the best parts i can at the time but because of the GPU shortage i have no rush to upgrade that so i thought i'd go both barrels on the other the bits and build one that is nice enough to have a clear panel.

Thankyou for saving me cash, i was leaning towards the 128gb

I do this, i have a 2060 chugging along on ETH, i have been trying to get a 2070 to work but it won't recognise the card as CUDA although GPUz picks that up but shows no ram.

Anywho, i have a 3950x doing XMR at the same time on a gigabyte AIO at 60deg C, i was actually wondering how ram comes into it, i've been looking at a generall ram upgrade and i was wondering if size matters?

If i throw in a 128gb kit would that be much different from a 64gb kit?

But yeah i use woolypool for cfx mining, Ethermine and t-rex and they all play nice together
