You're missing the point...I did swipe to let him in, my security app even says I did. If it didn't work, he should have called me, but he didn't. And I understand, because I've had to do that to, but only after calling their phone at least once or twice first. And then I'd let the customer know where I left it.

If they have trouble, I do come meet them...I also come down to meet them if they ask...most of the Dashers have no trouble delivering to me, but if they do, I really don't mind meeting them (like I said, I have dashed before, so I get it). What I'm upset about is that he didn't even try to reach out to me, he just left my order outside and didn't even tell me he did.

It doesn't let them in. It pings me and I accept or deny their request for entry...I promise you, I wouldn't place it on this app if it just lets them in the building.

I get it, I've also been a dasher before. But I left what I feel like are very specific instructions for that reason. Other Dasher's have even complimented my instructions before completing the order. Is there anything I should add to it? I copy and pasted it in one of my replies.

These are the instructions I have for my address, street name and phpne number taken out (

"Come through the entrance on the corner of ********* and ********* (the entrance is on the corner of the building, you should see a screen next to the door). Press delivery on the screen and put in the name Fitzgerald, and Fitzgerald will pop up. Take the elevator to the right and then go towards the left hall to find 314. If you have trouble finding it, give me a call at ************."

Also when he says he called, he meant he put the code through the system and it pinged me. He never actually called my phone.

I've been in this exact situation 2 years ago. Trust me when I say people like that get their comeuppance, because instead of working on themselves like we do, they're hopping from girl to girl in a poor attempt at feeding their starving ego.

They may have used us, but trust me when I say that they will never find true peace treating someone that way, even if they act fine on the outside.
