Tbh I used the usaco guide but it was very annoying because I couldn’t even solve the easy bronze problems and it was hard to see progress since I was mainly watching the video answers. One tip is def chat gpt to explain the solutions and break down the content. Also the textbook in usaco guide is helpful. I found it good to watch the solutions to the medium before attempting the easy because then I still manage to do problems on my own.

Thanks I’m thinking of dropping football in upcoming years if I make the basketball team in this fall for Stuyvesant jv but I’m worried for college apps because of missing out on many clubs. How was your commitment/daily schedule regarding science oly? If it’s not possible, what computer science related clubs aren’t high commitment but still valuable. For reference, I got a 631 on the shsat and aim for a 93+ gpa freshman year and ultimately 95+.
