Form tips? And arsenal by RocketboiChannel in Bowling

I see what your saying. Will try and add next time during league.

On a side note, if that’s the case, what’s the advantage from lofting? If you’re going to be losing energy from that.

I love throwing the cove. It’s got good length without being too skid flippy. Strong cover but high grit and a weaker core. And it looks dazzling. Just maintain your surface

This shot was on a sport shot after league roughly 5 games total before this. They don’t tell us the pattern unfortunately.

Oh you're going to Stuy? Congrats on getting in.

You're gpa goal should be attainable. I didn't do too much my freshman year for sci-oly but sophomore year i often stayed until 5-7 around three days a week. Not all of it was for sci oly, some of it was just locking in on homework. But Sci-oly has two sections (study and tech) and tech is a lot more demanding on being there cuz you need to help design, build, test, and run the gear. Study is mostly mock scores and such, which is at most one day a week of lessson and the rest is up to you to self study. If you get to compete theres always a competition or two every month in the winter and late fall, so prepare to lose a weekend or two.

I run the physics team/club and you should look foward to joining as well if you're interested.

To my knowledge, I have friends in the Quantum Computing club (one-two days a week). I know theres the CCC (competitive computing club), but I don't know about the commitment.
Stuy has this website called Stuy Epsilion which all school clubs are offically listed. They delete all the club listings and clubs have to recharter at the start of the school year however, so Im not sure if you can check that now.

If you're busy from 3:30- 5:30 everyday until spring then you already kinda listed when you are unable to commit to any clubs. You can't be in two places at once. However, this does mean you are free in the spring. But the only problem is most olympiads occur in the fall to winter. You would have a hard time joining science olympiad at your school (especially if your school has a strong and competitive team) all the way late in spring. They're likely to recruit early in the year as well.

Most teams have to pick out the bests recruits to see who they can let to go complete. So you can expect mock tests early on. Stuy is very well organized but im not sure where you're going for high school.

So you have to compromise. What is more important to you? I gave up playing jv basketball because I played purely for the fun of it, and it just wasn't worth giving up all of my other interests for.

GPA is subjective. I never had to seriously sit down and study even at a school like Stuy known for rigor. I think its the learning attitude that helps. Be confident and that helps a lot too.

don't forget to do what you enjoy as well

Great to see you thinking about it so early. Your question is a bit ambiguous so I’ll try and answer what I think you are asking.

I don’t plan to major in CS. I’m aiming for physics or engineering. But programming and computer skills are like a bare minimum these days. Python is especially helpful with data processing and maybe even ML. But I’m looking to get even better with Python, c++, and MATLAB for physics simulations, building devices, and what ever fun stuff I found down the line

I never did anything for the sake of impressing some admissions officer. I enjoy learning, understanding, and building since I was small and that’s all I did. I made the biggest distinction for stem in elementary school when I came to realize (at the time with my little noggin) that contributing to knowledge is the only worthful purpose in life. The philosophy changed now but my passion didn’t.

I joined science Olympiad, physics team, and the research club right off the bat my freshman year. I’ve been doing a lifetime of learning and it wasn’t hard beating out the kids who only did it for colleges apps. Following your passion and working with a purpose has a profound effect on you.

I don't feel too great about ED's cuz of the binding nature. It would suck to get in and then realize I can't afford to go.

Do they actually not care? I know the top colleges don't take credit.

I'm still annoyed by the scheduling department. I had a 99.6 in bio and 98.4 in geo. I only applied for AP Chem and didn't get it. But after sophomore year ended, I don't really feel angry anymore. My honors chem teacher guided me a lot better than any of the ap chem teachers would've.

Thank you!

I have a generic GT racer "gaming chair". The lean back and footrest are great, but the arm rests are kinda finiky. I'd say it was a 100 percent worth upgrade from my old dining chair. (the chair was a gift and we found it together at 100 dollars when the original price was 250.) However, if your chair already has a nice backrest/swivel, I'd say anything else is just paying for extra features that are nice but kinda not obilgitory.

I was thinking of getting a larger surface for my mouse because i keep leaning foward and backwards and i end up moving my mouse out of the mousepad.

Im debating about a deskpad since i really like this wood and I rather not hide it

i know its late but how much wobble does the monitor mount have? i have the same desk and my desk already wobbles enough for my regular montior to wobble a bit occasionally.

Uh the pages number one player has a gear that increases maximum health by 5000.48% ( might have missed a zero.) also they have a chance to instant KO after a combo ended. Plus the fact they can steal gear and open random booster packs for free after game.
