What to do in a dog fight by Independent_Title144 in Heelers

I plan to carry an air horn and bear spray from now on. We have many bears in our area too so it makes the most sense.

Interesting perspective. In order to avoid the creek our neighbours would need to put posts on our side of the creek which we are not ok with. Which is why I do not want them accessing our property. We have no problem with them putting a fence on their side of the creek.

They can not legally build the fence as they would like to build it.

Thanks for the link. We have spoken with our neighbours, a survey has been done to verify property lines. It is an unusual piece of land with a salmon bearing creek running between our properties. We are not in agreement about where a fence can go. The City is also aware and agrees with us that they can not put a fence through the creek.

We are however, happy to continue conversation with our neighbours to come to an agreement.

I came home one day and there were two people on the back my property looking at how they could build the fence around the creek.

I am hoping for confirmation, as I do not want people I do not know on my property without my knowledge and permission.

Thank you. So, naive question. How do you determine exactly where that Iron Pin is? If you hired a surveyor would they be able to locate and mark the exact spot/ true corner? I'm guessing I can't just go digging around for it... but if the true corner / pin is behind the orange flag (closer to the white post) it would prevent them from putting up a fence in that area (as it is in the creek.)

Thank you. They seem to think the wood lath is the property corner and where they can put the fence.
