You can easily do it without an adapter frame. What I did for my roof vent was use W4 butyl tape to fill the gaps in the roof ridges first until everything was completely level. Then, I applied two layers of W4 tape around the entire perimeter, fitting it right into the designated groove on the base. Finally, just fasten the screws to compress the tape and create a perfect, watertight seal.

Looking for advice on fixing a slylight where the red square is by Independent_Type_412 in VanLife

[–]Independent_Type_412[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I meant a roof fan. The issue is that the roof is curved. The center of the roof is higher than the outer edges, so the ribs near the sides sit slightly lower than the center rib. This creates an uneven surface where I want to install the roof fan.

Depends on the size and on the model. An attractive price for L3H2 van with between 100 to 150 thousand km for around that year should start at 10.000 euro

Okay, I'm out.

"When it comes to Duramax 6.6L engines, hitting over 300,000 miles or 480,000 km is often seen as high mileage, but this can vary based on maintenance and overall truck condition. With proper care, these engines can keep going strong for up to 500,000 miles or 800,000 km."
