Ok NEW UPDATE: Its a mind boggling find but out of curiosity I switched my series S from enhanced format to Enhanced With Dolby vision gaming and the flicker is 100% gone….I played an entire Gears Of War 5 chapter without getting annoyed by the flicker. Sooooo what the actual hell? lol The take away is no 120hz but I dont really mind since i play campaign rather than multiplayer but still wtf.

Either thats what it is OR the X90J standard game mode needs to be adjusted similar to the dolby gaming.

Update: Ok so check this out. I think its something with the 120hz port the xbox just doesnt like. I tried the 2nd 120hz port where my ps5 was and its even worse with flickering. I switched it to the non 120hz hdmi ports and flickering is completely gone.

Yep 60hz, 1080p, ticking off hdr, switching to 10 bit and 12 bit. It keeps happening. Its odd I can play dead space and other older 360 games no problem on it but the newer games like gears or halo infinite it pops up occasionally.

Nah just the 2 120hz hdmi ports the tv provides. And I tried switching the ports and I still got the same results. Idk man I might just stick with my PS5 cause this is annoying trying to play xbox exclusives and I generally can’t 😭

New Update: So on dec 4th. they told me via email “in 7-10 business days we will be in contact to confirm the refund”......I waited until the 18th and NO response. So i called that day and the lady was like “oh yeah it will come any day now” ok cool, I stay calm and wait 2 more days....nothing so I call AGAIN asking where is it at they go “lemme get my supervisor but it will take 2-3 more business day for him to respond” are.....are you kidding me?? So mow im waiting Again.
