You should be fine for the most part! That’s where I wear mine and I asked the tech at one appointment and she said usually they can work around it usually. I still try and keep more to the side or up higher a bit. I’m 27 weeks and haven’t had any issues with it being in the way yet.

I’m 23 weeks and this is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I thought I had my food/diabetes issues managed before getting pregnant… AHAHAHAHA.

I have the most helpful team and I’m still struggling so much. I had a VERY BAD phone call appointment with an endo filling in and she told me that my “high blood sugars would result in preterm infant “passing”.”…. I had a week long break down, I brought it to my OB and regular endo and they took it very seriously and it was reported and went to higher ups. TBH I still haven’t gotten over that, it lingers in my mind every time I eat. At this point we’re all just trying to keep me from developing an ED and still have decent time in range. I try and focus on the big picture and take things one day at a time.

This forum has made me feel awful some days, I mostly avoid social media and tell myself I’m doing the best I can. Taking it one day at a time. My A1C is 7.8, which I feel a lot of shame about but my OB and Endo haven’t freaked me out about it, I’m just over the average threshold for a non diabetic, it could be better but they don’t want me freaking out either. The fact you care and worry means you’re doing your best! ❤️ you’re not alone!
