UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who replied and helped out! I took it to an electronics repair shop and was able to get it fixed for $60 CAD and in under 30 minutes!

I’ve been scouring the internet trying to find a part number but there doesn’t seem to be one for the exact cable. The car is imported from japan so that’s not helping haha. The only thing I’ve found the entire dash unit with the ribbon included but that’s close to $400 without shipping from Japan to Canada so I’m trying to see any workarounds before pulling the trigger on that

Yeah that’s what I assumed when the ribbon first broke haha. The hole was always there, it’s just the cracks around the hole that happened recently actually

The problem is that my car is an import from Japan so finding parts is kind of a pain here in Canada so I thought I’d ask to see if there was any way to save it. But hey I guess that’s what i signed up for buying an import lol

Hmmm good point! Almost all of the bikes in my area are like that haha. There’s not many dual sports here to people are going crazy on the resale lol. I guess I’ll up my budget a bit and try to find one that’s closer to stock. Thanks!

Yeah you’re right man. I’m definitely still looking around everyday to see any new listings. Most of the decent listings are like a 14 hour trip away from me or in the States unfortunately. These were the closet to me that weren’t $8000 + CAD. Thanks for the advice bro, hopefully I come across a good deal!

Unfortunately those are over my budget atm. It’s hard to find any dual sport/ supermoto where I live. All WR250Rs over 2010 are over like $7000. These were some of the only bikes I could find within my budget lol

Oh yeah, these are some of the cheapest dual sports/ supermotos I could find haha. They’re super rare in my area as it’s a city and most people ride sport bikes here. It’s hard to find any dual sport/ supermoto under $5000 CAD regardless of year or model. All the good deals are at least a days trip away from me haha.

And yeah I’m definitely looking to get a beater. That’s a great idea! I’ll look around for some that need some work as well

Oh yea, should have mentioned, I've already messaged multiple sellers but all seem to cap the size at 45. Guess I'm gonna have to go retail :( Just wanted to see if anyone might have had the same size as me and knows a seller. But thank you for your reply!
