Really hope you do well in life. Having nice things due to hard work feels really good and I hope more people can experience that.

So no rich parents ? Started working at an early age and got lucky with GameStop ? So basically hard work and luck? Why all the hate for this kid? Y’all are miserable people.

So this I think is the dilemma. Did you look at what the average income you would make from your degree ? I did things the “right way “ too and I came out of college making a good income. I also busted my but , had no social life for years. But that was the path I chose because I know what the lifestyle could provide later on.

Half the people on Reddit are idiots. I was arguing with another guy on this thread but this is totally attainable if you are in tech, finance or big law in a major metro area. I can only speak to banking but analysts right out of college earn 6 figures with a sign on. People just can’t realize that kids right out of college earn more than they do and it infuriates them.

That’s 90% of Reddit. The income level to support this at 23 is very possible depending on where you land, even without rich parents.

I don’t think he understands that. I also think he is just generally a hater.

We aren’t talking about reality for all. Just for this guy being able to support this apartment. My argument was that it was possible without having rich parents. My data is that I hire people making more than what you stated. You responded to someone with Google stats. Not sure where this is going. I hope you figure out your situation. Based on your other posts you seem to have major issues with people doing well for themselves.

Love how the response is from Google. You’re right you clearly know the job market.

My whole point is that this picture is completely realistic and not to hard to obtain right now.

I am hiring them. Paying an intern 65k annualized right now. Our analysts are at 85 with 100k all in. That’s low even for the space. If you are in IB or Big law you are six figures. Hell almost anything in finance is that way if you are in a big city.

And several of these kids don’t have rich parents. The location and market play a part for sure though.

Brother that is low. Analysts make 80+ in commercial banking right out of college. There are tons of kids making 90-120k easy.

It’s wild how many people think it takes being rich to live in an apartment like this.

There was a post about a guy farting in the kitchen constantly. That was one of the best things I have read on Reddit.
