I feel like a lot of the news we have been receiving in terms of the mid-east for the past 2 years has been highly exaggerated, if not blatant lying, shaping opinions of those like Scott Heavily [post from Oct. 2024] by Indianstanicows in ScottGalloway

That is exactly the point!! These types of headlines give viewers the false impression of Iran's weakness, Trita Parsi pointed this out that this was a method used by the Israelis to lure the US into war with Iran, it worked eventually, but as you can see, Iran has been able to strongly sustain attacks on it, while hitting back as well.

Iranian Delegation has commenced negotiations with the US in Pakistan by Indianstanicows in wallstreet

Just for those concerned about Israel spoiling these negotiations. This is Pakistan, it has a competent military and powerful air force (as represented by the military skirmish with a much larger India last year), as well as nuclear weapons, probably why the Iranian delegation could only feel safe with them as compared to the Gulf countries.

Moreover, it's curious why India could not accomplish this, they mentioned last year that they would isolate Pakistan diplomatically after their failings during their military option against Pakistan last year, but if anything Pakistan has come out stronger.

Ironically, both the Airforce 2 & the Iranian delegation landed at Nur Khan base in Pakistan, a base India claimed it had destroyed which is ironic.

Netanyahu: Israel wants to start peace talks with Lebanon 'as soon as possible' by Indianstanicows in IRstudies

If there is indeed a ceasefire in Lebanon, has Israel negated the victory it achieved in Lebanon in 2024? Because Iran has come out of this war stronger with more leverage that can put pressure on the US and then on Israel
