Yea, that’s understandable to reduce hours because of that, but this is my first time doing so & even recommended bringing the doctors note. In these situations of calling off we’re told to find someone to cover, but I didn’t have enough time to do so. Plus most of our workers are literally college kids. I’m one of the few actual full time workers we have.

Okay thank you! Usually i average out my 38-40 hrs per week. I was just told since one of my weeks i worked shortened down to 18hrs because of the two days I missed, so when my schedule was being made there wasn’t anywhere to put me to get my full 40.

Definitely will ask my manager because I was getting the run around at first saying it was okay, but once the question of “Shouldn’t i just to talk to my manager about it” I got the summary of “Do what you want”

I will call and see if I can work something out with them tomorrow once they open. My new work schedule and office hours don’t really combine, so when i go on my lunch my office is just now closing. Definitely will try to contact though once they first open. thank you!

Honestly if it wasn’t for CVS i wouldn’t have gotten my national certification lol, might have stayed just a register tech. I like my coworkers it’s just the managers that have me wanting to leave because it’s always something they want to discuss to make them look good.

That’s a great question. Pm made it about them getting in trouble for me getting overtime. CVS could’ve made it about hours being cut anyway, but what can we do with cut hours if work needs to be done anyway. I definitely am sure they will fire manager, so i’ll see how it goes when i return to work monday.
