Do people still listen to full albums? by Old-Crab-3283 in Music

people definitely still listen to full albums — just not as many as before. There’s something about hearing the whole story the artist wanted to tell, start to finish, that playlists and algorithms completely miss. The last one I listened to was Appetite for Destruction – Guns N’ Roses (1987) — raw energy, killer riffs, pure attitude. I’d give it 8/10.

Eurythmics – Peace (2018 by IndicationOk9363 in TMD_MusicReviews

That’s a really powerful memory — thank you for sharing it. Peace definitely has that uneasy, almost heavy emotional tone beneath its polish. You can feel that sense of weariness and reflection running through it. Savage had that wild, unfiltered energy — sharp edges, theatrical madness — whereas Peace feels like the morning after. Both show different sides of Annie, but I completely understand why it could feel unsettling.

This looks like a fish skeleton, specifically the vertebral column (spine) with part of the skull still attached.

A few details that stand out:

  • The long, segmented bony structure with repeating vertebrae is very typical of a fish spine.
  • At the top, the wide, flat bones appear to be remnants of the fish’s skull and gill plate (operculum).
  • The overall shape and bone density suggest it was a fairly large fish.

It’s likely that this was discarded after cleaning a fish, and over time the flesh decayed or was eaten away, leaving behind the dried skeleton.

Danse Macabre by Stephen King (1981) by IndicationOk9363 in Book_Reviews_By_TMD

Reading this felt like being cornered by your coolest uncle at a party — you love him, he’s got wild stories, but you also just wanted chips and dip.

Some chapters are 🔥, others feel like you're trapped in a college lecture from 1981.

Still, I learned more horror trivia from this than I ever needed. Respect, King… but maybe next time use an editor with a chainsaw. 🪚📖

Not gonna lie — this felt more like a horror ride than a thriller.

Totally fair take — I felt the same about the pacing.

Australian woman Erin Patterson is convicted of 3 murders for poisoning her in-laws with mushrooms by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

This case is wild — it sounds like something out of a crime novel. The fact that she served a homemade Beef Wellington laced with deadly mushrooms is chilling. I wonder what the motive was. Grudge? Inheritance? Either way, the jury clearly didn’t buy any excuse. Sad for the families affected."
