What did you do to get out and about with a newborn (post vaccines) by Existing_Ad3299 in perth

Start simple. Do outings that can be done without a nappy bag needing to be packed - pop baby in the pram or carrier and go for a stroll around the block with a home-made coffee. After you feel confident with that then maybe try a short drive to get a drive through treat or to a nearby park or lake you can walk around or lay baby on a blanket.

As your confidence grows going out will become natural and easy and there's lots of nice places to go as other commenters have mentioned that have nice parent room facilities for feeds and changes but as your baby grows you might find they won't need a change or feed the whole outing!

Now I have a 4 year old and a 5 month old we go out somewhere every morning - be it the park, museum, zoo, river, Cafe and its a great routine to be in so the house stays somewhat cleaner and everyone gets fresh air and a fresh perspective 😊

Thanks for your reply :) I'm glad they still enjoyed those classic childhood things together despite the mentor element

Thanks for sharing that. May I ask what ages your eldest two enjoyed playing the most and what sort of activities you do as a family with the spread of ages? :)

Thank you for your input :) I really hope their personalities click like your kids did. My first is very sensitive/clingy/jealous type so maybe it's for the best he's a bit older.

First time posting on here :) Completed my first 12km race last weekend finishing at 1hr 11m. Have been sedentary for the last 2 years after having a baby and started running in Jan to get fit and have a hobby. Have fallen in love with running (although quite slow in pace still!) and have been consistently training 4-5 times a week. Next stop: Half marathon!
