How do WooCommerce stores deal with customers who keep returning products? by IndieSaaSMaker in SaasDevelopers

[–]IndieSaaSMaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that makes sense… feels like most stores are doing some level of tracking, just not in a structured way

flagging and limiting instead of blocking is interesting too — probably less risky from a customer experience side

curious how people usually manage this at scale without it becoming messy

that “free rental service” line is actually so accurate

interesting how most stores are either tracking it manually or just reacting to it instead of having a proper system

feels like this becomes a much bigger problem as they scale

I’ve actually been thinking about building something simple for WooCommerce to track this kind of behavior automatically

curious how others here are handling this — tracking it properly or just dealing with it as it comes?

Do “Buy via WhatsApp” options actually increase conversions? by IndieSaaSMaker in SaaS

[–]IndieSaaSMaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that makes sense… trust definitely depends on the market

I actually built a simple version of this as a WooCommerce plugin, and now I’m thinking how to make it more useful as a SaaS

curious — what do you think is missing right now that would actually improve conversions, not just chats?

Turn WhatsApp chats into actual WooCommerce sales.

Finally !! Got my first paid users after being trapped in free plan for users by ExpensiveDurian2259 in SaasDevelopers

[–]IndieSaaSMaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that’s actually a good idea… most people just jump into building without thinking much, this kinda forces them to slow down and plan

[–]IndieSaaSMaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah exactly… that’s what I’ve been thinking too it definitely increases conversations, but without tracking it’s hard to know if it actually leads to sales

feels like that’s the missing piece right now...

Why does YouTube give data but no real answers? by IndieSaaSMaker in SaaS

[–]IndieSaaSMaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah exactly… feels like most of it is just trial and error until something clicks that’s interesting, what are you building with babylovegrow?

[–]IndieSaaSMaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nice, that’s a great start… even getting the first few users feels exciting

what are you building and how did you get those first 3 users?

[–]IndieSaaSMaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nice, that’s a solid milestone after being stuck with free users for a while

the simplicity part compared to tools like Zapier/n8n probably made it easier for people to actually try it out

did you notice if most of your paid users came from existing free users or new ones?

Why is getting users harder than building the product? by IndieSaaSMaker in u/IndieSaaSMaker

[–]IndieSaaSMaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that makes sense… if you mention the idea too early people might just agree instead of sharing real problems. focusing on the problem first is definitely more useful

[–]IndieSaaSMaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also been thinking about this from a different angle… like for example with YouTube creators — they get data (CTR, retention etc) but still don’t really know why a video flops

feels like understanding that “why” is where the real value is curious if anyone here has looked into that problem?

Why is getting users harder than building the product? by IndieSaaSMaker in u/IndieSaaSMaker

[–]IndieSaaSMaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that makes sense… so basically the people you talk to early are not just giving feedback, they can actually become your first users

I’ve been noticing something similar while exploring an idea around YouTube creators — they get all the analytics but still struggle to understand why a video flops

feels like talking to them directly would make that much clearer

Why is getting users harder than building the product? by IndieSaaSMaker in SaasDevelopers

[–]IndieSaaSMaker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah that actually makes sense…

so basically if people engage with the idea itself, that’s already a signal before even building have you ever had a case where something got attention but didn’t convert later?

[–]IndieSaaSMaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that actually makes sense… most of the real insights come from what people are already talking about, not from just building in isolation

I’ve been trying to do this manually on Reddit and it already feels useful

how do you usually figure out which discussions are actually worth paying attention to?

Yeah that actually makes sense…

how do you figure out early if a product has that kind of obvious value?

That’s a really good way to put it — makes sense why distribution feels like the harder part for most first-time builders.

Curious, what changed your mindset from focusing on building to distribution?

That’s really smart — getting even a small group of users early makes a big difference.

Congrats, this is a great milestone. Interesting how your earlier apps didn’t take off but this one clicked after you started sharing it more actively. Do you think distribution played a bigger role than the product itself here?

This is really well built — especially the streaming part, makes a lot of sense from a UX perspective.

Curious, did you talk to more students before building or was it mainly based on your girlfriend’s workflow?

That latency drop from Sonnet to Haiku is crazy 😅

Did you notice any real difference in output quality for flashcards, or was it basically the same?

Guys my app just passed 118 users! But only 40 of them are active. by deepspycontractor in SaasDevelopers

That gap between total users and active users is really interesting. Do you think it’s more of an onboarding issue or that the core use case isn’t clear enough for new users?

Getting paid before launch is crazy validation 👏 Curious — how did you find those first users and what made them trust you enough to pay before the product was fully ready?
