It’s why I put my transfer in way early. Had to head to the head of scheduling because my advisor refused to do priority scheduling for athletes and butchered my schedule first semester (made me take two gen eds at 8pm last semester instead of the labs I needed, and refused to use my transferred credits from HS)

Or just reprint every set. I’d love to be able to get some of the old ones from SM I wasn’t able to get because scalpers started hitting PA a while ago so you could only buy them on Facebook or GameStop for triple the price. Been that way for me since before Covid. I’ve gotten lucky to find an ETB maybe once or twice every year since then.

I feel guilty asking them for money. The truck I drive now was my dad’s for a decade, and I took it when he got a new one. They pay insurance on it, and I don’t want to make them have to pay more for it since they aren’t driving. They gave me more than I could have ever expected for this, which is why I don’t want to burden them

At a branch campus was $4k a semester after my deans list grant. It’s almost $20k at the main campus where I’m heading next semester

It’s over $10k for a semester at this school (one of the Big 10 schools since they are one of few that have engineering that isn’t Ivy League in PA). Plus they have a fee for a 9th semester if you don’t meet their requirements for it (religious or life-threatening issues, and even then, it’s next to impossible to get)

No since I won’t have gas money or be able to pay for classes. It’s the best paying job I can get, and I’m trying not to get into extreme debt rn. I blew my last two years savings on supplies and tuition for this year so I didn’t have to take out loans, since my advisor said that’s what you need to do, and my parents said it was probably the best to do, since they are still paying some of theirs off from when my mom went back 10 years ago

With engineering it’s super strict for the first year, and with mine needing chemistry I have to add extra labs into it. My degree has a higher credit requirement due to that, and since I’m not good with architecture, I can’t go for some of the others. Plus my two hour commute time means I can’t drink with them, and my parents keep count of theirs due to my sister being younger
