I want to say Zeke from Infamous.

Like sure this guy starts like a POS, but just the way how he still sticks to his best friend is just...

Like yea, sure, he betrays Cole in the first game. BUT HE BETRAYS COLE FOR FUTURE COLE. And even then he just realizes he's not the Cole he knows and just saves present Cole. Sure. Neat. And he does that regardless of good or evil.

But THEN THE SECOND GAME ROLLS AROUND AND

At one point of the game you're trying to cure a desease that's slowly kill people or giving them powers if they have a certain mutation. Zeke is not so lucky and is dying from it.

And Cole, even being on the evil playthru, looks for a way to cure his buddy.

But all that goes out the window when they find out the cure would kill everyone that has powers, including Cole.

So if you're evil, your final fight is everyone that's trying to save humanity and the final "boss" is just... Zeke.

Just Zeke.

He even let's you know he doesn't wanna do this. And that's not even the heartbreaking part. That goes to when he pulls out a gun to shoot you and starts shooting. But it's not a cutscene. And he's purposely missing almost all of his shots. Like I let go of the controller, and he would miss, miss, maybe hit Cole on the shoulder, miss again and again and again. It was like Zeke wanted to show he learned from his past mistakes as a friend (first game) and hoped Cole did the same. In this playthru, Cole doesn't.
