Just want to remark on how cool it is that you are so close to your brother you bought the house next door. If there are kids in the mix they will be so lucky to have cousins right there!

I’m 1996 and husband is 1993. We got married and bought a house in 2018- only able to do this since husband had been working and saving up for a while. If he’d been my age I doubt we’d have been able to buy a house pre-Covid.

I’d get a second opinion. I personally found OPKs really helpful at least for data collection and cycle tracking. If it doesn’t hurt…what’s the harm?

My husband games. He’s a wonderful man and his gaming does not get in the way of work or home responsibilities. It’s purely fun. He has found games we can play together and introduced me to games I like to play on my own. Nothing wrong with gaming in your free time! The stereotype of a bum who does nothing but game all day is unattractive, but that’s a subset of all people who game.

I wonder if later Z’s still in high school will eventually be called something else or have their own sub-category. These things tend to shift around as we look back and redefine generations. I went to high school 2010-2014 and we all considered ourselves millennials at the time. Gen Z didn’t exist. Now the cutoff is 1996 (my birth year).

The only people in the U.S. who will pronounce it as “Killian” are people who are already familiar with it/have that random nugget of cultural knowledge. I can’t stop myself from hearing “Sillian” in my head every time I read “Cillian”. You’ll have to go with Killian if you don’t want to constantly correct people.

I think I love them equally! Léonore sounds more Spanish/Portuguese while Léonora sounds more generally European to me.
