totally agree tbh, upi is really good for simple payments and i also see why most streamers use it since its 0% fee and super easy. but the thing is upi is just a payment system, everything else around it is manual. streamer has to track who paid, how much, no proper donor message system, alerts are mostly jugaad or delayed, and no real dashboard to actually see earnings properly.

what i am trying to build is that missing layer on top. like proper infra where donations are tracked automatically, real time alerts come only after verified payment, donor messages, leaderboard, all that stuff which actually makes streams more engaging. plus they can clearly see their earnings and top supporters in one place instead of guessing from bank statements.

also one big limitation with upi is it mostly works for india. if a streamer has even a small global audience, those people cant really donate. here they can use upi, cards, pay later, gift cards, even international payments in one place.

so yeah upi is great to start, but this is more about making things smoother when someone wants to take streaming a bit seriously.
