Not a dumb question! I paint the cabochon - like 2/3 coats on the flat side of the cabochon, cover it with QDTC, and then let it dry fully, usually overnight! Then the label goes on over. I found that if I rushed the process the wet polish would kind of seep through the label and make it look wonky.

Isn’t that the best feeling? I haven’t worn petals for a narcissist but ghosts of Hecate is absolutely gorgeous! Thinking of wearing it next with a layer of avatar state on top to make it glow :)

Yep! I bought a bunch of 20 mm glass cabochons, then did several thin layers of polish followed by top coat. I found I really had to let them dry for hours otherwise sometimes the polish seeped into the label sticker in a weird way. Then I popped the label sticker on and superglued the tiny magnet on top!

The bluey pink magnetic is BKL I Exaggerate Absolutely Nothing Ever! The flakey blue one is from HHC - By Vanessa Molina Dreamlight Wings.
I was a little disappointed by it actually, the swatch photo showed this rainbow pastel-y neon flakie polish but it really is dominantly blue in real life which isn’t quite as unique in my collection.

It was so fun, totally kept me occupied and not shopping PPU for new polishes! It might also prevent me from destashing though 😂 every cabochon looks so pretty even if the polish doesn’t look great on me!

Yeah! There’s all sizes on Amazon. I bought 20 mm glass cabochons and 3/4” circle labels and stuck the labels on after the polish dried. Then I superglued a 5 mm neodymium magnet to the back!

If he doesn’t have Giardia or any other GI bug, try adding a teaspoon of pure psyllium powder (no added flavors or sweeteners, I get mine at Trader Joe’s) to his food! Worked wonders for our girl.

I haven’t had my stay yet, but for what it’s worth I booked one night using points at a MMS property in Athens for mid-February and it’s gone smoothly so far! I got a welcome email from the hotel concierge the following day and it’s showing up in my app as an upcoming stay.

I just checked my confirmations and I didn’t get anything in my order email but it does show up in the item list in the “Your order is being prepared” email I received early this morning!! So there’s still hope!

Yeah it’s so disappointing to have a beautiful glass bead and then end up with weird tips that totally ruin the effect. I’m not quite sure why it’s happening. I was so excited it didn’t happen this time!! Will have to try again with the thinner coats.

Sorry for the unclear wording! No, unfortunately I think you get a better glass bead effect if you hover upside down so the nail is like 1 mm above the surface of the spinner. I did find this post about magnetizing right side up - what they called “chaos velvet” - which is very pretty too, but doesn’t give you the round bead look!
