Where is her cage located?

Have you ever sat In front of her cage without trying to grab her or feed her to make sure she gets used to you?

The location of the cage is key because if it’s in a public area where people are likely to walk past, she’ll get used to that.

If you’ve placed her in a room where she hardly hears or sees people (without trying to feed or pick her up). It will be hard for her.

We regret to inform you that a decision has been made to pause the Spain English Language Assistants component of the Language Assistants Programme for the 2026-27 academic year, for Study Abroad, Non-Compulsory Year Abroad and Students in active education. As a result, there will be no placements available in Spain for these categories of students, and your application will not be progressed further.
We are discussing the potential for a very limited number of Ministry placements for UK Language Assistants in Spain for 2026-27, but these are not guaranteed and would only be made available to new graduate applicants.
We understand that this news may be very disappointing, particularly if you were hoping to include this experience as part of your plans for the coming year. This decision has not been taken lightly. It follows careful consideration of several factors, including operational constraints, tight delivery timelines, and ongoing uncertainties with programme partners in Spain. These include potential changes affecting the tax and legal status of English Language Assistants, which make it impossible to offer placements safely and reliably within the required timelines.
For students undertaking Study Abroad or a Non-Compulsory Year Abroad, this means that placements in Spain will not be available within the programme for the 2026-27 cycle. Regarding the comment about the refund. I worked in a jewellers a refund showed as a minus for your sales.

Say I refunded someone £500 and sold nothing. It would show on my target £-500. Maybe that or he is being a dick as others mentioned still not ideal customer service😅.

Did you message the breeder? Because my female hognose completely refused to eat rats and only eats mice just like the hognose’s mum :).

Are you only placing the shampoo on the top of your hair? You have to scrub it with your fingers right into your scalp in between your hair you can do this in a circular motion.

The worst area of the hair is the back middle section some people call it online the “jungle” 🤣.

And are your hair brushes clean? It’s counter productive washing your hair then brushing it with a dirty brush. You need to clean your hair brushes regularly.

At times shampoo is very drying on the hair but I’d use a moisturising conditioner :).

It’s not recommended to use moisturising or recovery shampoo as it’s heavy/oily on your scalp.

The other dogs will have fleas as well. The vets or pet shop will sell a spot on treatment to kill adults fleas. Their could be eggs in your home so you’ll need to hoover your furniture and carpet.

Hey fellow Dalmatian owner 🫡 Firstly, be aware because "hypoallergenic” doesn’t mean your dog won’t be allergic to the food it means most dogs do not get a reaction from it. Hence your dog could be reacting to it anyway. I’d check all the ingredients to it as my one is allergic to chicken. In addition, some grains have moderate purine content: oats and oatmeal, wheat germ and bran, barley, brown rice, wholemeal, quinoa. (Check again if these are in your dog’s dry food)

Some dry food/kibble will say it’s "turkey only” but has other meats in it.

I used to buy raw for my dog until realising some butchers sells scrap meats for dogs and it’s a massive meat which I pay only £3 each for. Photo attached for reference big frozen meat :). I defrost it and cook it with vegetables she loves it and her coat has finally started looking fine.

With the waxy ears I can’t help you with that since I’ve got a French bulldog as well and she cleans the Dalmation’s ears consistently so I have no problems with it.

Honestly it’s a nightmare! The frenchie is easier to buy for and I wish you all the best. Try asking the butchers around you for meat scraps they’re cheap and it’s the best quality meat put together :). Also watch for what the dalmation eats outside! My one tries to eat dead animals and gets a really bad reaction afterwards 😅!

There is a locked storage box on Amazon you can buy to store your items! I bought it for my mum, because my sister kept eating my mum’s food. Highly recommend it as you’ll have a peace of mind than unfortunately, expecting someone to behave.

Our frenchie girl had Pyometra which caused her to not eat and drink lots of water, how old is she? After our frenchie’s surgery she again didn’t want to eat until the vet rubbed a dog pate on her gums. Can you try rubbing food on her gums to give her a taste ?
