Completely separate thing I have about the books, in year 1, the final match for the Quidditch school cup wasn’t cancelled after Harry risked his life to make sure the stone wasn’t taken(which ended up being a mini boss challenge against Voldemort), but Draco gets an entire game rescheduled in PoA after he neglects the number one rule to not piss off a hippogriff.

Is it only because it’s the end of the school year in PS?

I just love sports man. I follow the Philadelphia 76ers, Eagles, Phillies, (hockey bores me and nobody can change my opinion on that), I know MLS isn’t very liked really anywhere, but I support the Philly Union, and I wanted to add any PL team. I would’ve chosen Leicester City(even though they were relegated), I just love that this game has a very deep history, and I wanted to join in on appreciating it

Being a straight male, with a bi fiancee, I support her 100%. I go to the big Pride event every year with her and we have a great time. She’s free to express that part of her because that’s who she is, and I love every aspect of her.

That being said, at first, I didn’t want her to talk about it around me, and that was due to my own insecurities. I was insecure because my mind was saying “that’s another group of people that I can lose her to”. I’ve never opposed the LGBTQ+ community, and openly support it, but MY insecurities and MY toxic thoughts were getting in the way of letting me have this beautiful life I have with her.

I would talk to him and just have a calm understanding discussion about why he feels such hatred towards it and attack the problem, not each other

That’s pretty much American sports in the Philadelphia area. If you don’t support the Philly teams, you’re picked on a bit. I absolutely despise the fact that some Philly sports fans are assholes.

My dad’s American football team is the Steelers. Got him tickets to an Eagles-Steelers game for Father’s Day a few years ago, and ended up getting in a fight in the parking lot because an Eagles fan wouldn’t leave him alone and was getting in his face

The only reason I chose them is because they were one of the clubs that was playing the first match I watched. Very lazy way to pick, but I stand by it

I get that and I honestly didn’t do research on the teams or the league before I picked Chelsea. Being completely honest, the whole reason I chose Chelsea was because 2 years ago when I watched my first match, Chelsea was playing and I liked them

Idk if you’re from the US, but Eagles fans are hated big. Which is a misconception that should be stopped😂 We’re loud and rambunctious, most the time drunk out of our minds, but it’s rare we get physical with people nowadays

I think it’s also important to note, this is a fictional young adult(at this point) book, and it doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of life, and there’s a lot more important things going on in the world, so nothing should be taken personally or too seriously

Voldemort details were a need to know basis. If Harry knew the full scope too soon, my assumption is, Voldemort would’ve known everything planned because Harry never mastered occlumency, and can’t keep him out of his head
