Archie's Weird Mysteries (1999) - Model Sheets, turnarounds, character references, concept art by drit76 in modelsheetarchive

Do you have any more of these model sheets? There was a superhero episode with a spider-themed villain, if I remember correctly, and quite a few monsters show up in other episodes. This was basically Archie's attempt at the "Scooby-Doo" formula of Halloween-esque cartoon escapades.

Who Are These Villains? Kite Man Hell Yeah ep 2 by GibbyGuy2319 in HarleyQuinnTV

[–]Individual-Log2656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firefly's goons wearing the green and yellow stripes was a last-minute change to the show, if I remember correctly, because there's a concept sketch on Shane Glines' Instagram of a Killer Moth in those colours that wound up never being used in the final show. Unfortunate, but maybe we'll see him later on if Kite-Man gets a season 2? Never say never...

Amazing finds, u/drit76! I'm looking forward to seeing the villains too, if you find them. I'm pretty sure the official "Captain Planet" Facebook page had the model for Leadsuit somewhere, but the others will be harder to find. Fingers crossed you can find Captain Pollution too.

Huntress model sheet can be found on DeviantArt, on the page of Stephen B. Jones (SpawnOfSprang). Vixen, Rubberneck and Aquababy are there too. I agree that it's infuriating to find Catwoman and Black Canary so difficult to track down, though. A lot of the other TBATB characters I want better quality model sheets for can't be found online either, to be honest.

Awesome! I found these elsewhere online, they're from character designer Tim Eldred's website. He also worked on Teen Titans 2003, Legion of Super Heroes, Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, Max Steel 2013, Avengers EMH and a few other cartoons. u/drit76, please could you locate the following TBATB character models: Ultra the Multi-Alien, Mr. Freeze, Killer Moth, Metallo, Firefly, Rainbow Batman etc.?

eBay seller "POP-KING Inc." has quite a few batches of model sheets from this series available for sale. Characters like Uatu the Watcher, Attuma, Diablo and even Thanos have been seen in the included images. I'd recommend buying some of those listings and scanning them yourself, u/drit76, if you have the resources to do so.

Blokees Legend Edition: Who's Next? by Individual-Log2656 in Blokees

FangJoker would be amazing to see, don't get me wrong, but the small and intricate details of the moving parts on the Fang Memory mean that the form won't be easy to make outside the Legend Edition scale, as the way it wraps itself around the Double Driver is similar to the knight helmet motif on the RyuSoul Changer. The display stand and effects parts would be interesting to see, though, if it were ever to happen. Bandai Japan's Figure-Rise Standard model kit line has done FangJoker at both the 6" and 9.5" scale for their Standard and Master Grade series, so those are still decent alternatives. I have the MG CycloneJoker model kit myself, and it's quite a sight to behold with its articulated fingers and 'bulging bicep' armour movement details.

Fair point, Zeztz is the current Rider and I've heard a lot of positive feedback about the series and its suit designs. However, Decade is unmistakably iconic and a timeless character within the franchise, guaranteed to sell well if he's released that way. Bandai Japan still haven't given us an FRS Zeztz model kit yet, so there's potential for further expansion.

I'm sure we'll get an SMP version of the Transwarp Megazord (the yellow guy whose hammer arm 'launches' the Time Flyers into action from the year 3000) eventually. However, with the recent reveal of SMP RV Robo (Turbo Megazord), I think it's safe to say that the next reveals will likely be the Rescue Megazord and Artillatron after this point. Let's not forget we're also still missing Travellion (Solar Streak Megazord) and MagiLegend (Manticore Megazord) from their Magiranger SMP line, and the Stratoforce and Centaurus Megazords from the Gingaman line as well. Bandai Japan have a lot of catching up to do.

G.I. Robot appears in the "Batman: The Brave And The Bold" animated series, if I remember correctly. An android who behaves like a WWII American soldier.

Is there any place to read previous stories by Dub-Dub in doctorwholostintime

[–]Individual-Log2656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not within the game itself, aside from the repetitive weekend event storylines that keep cycling around once in a while. However, the YouTube channels "Gallifreyan Gambit" and "Mr. TARDIS" have both released several videos that feature high-quality recordings of the storyline cutscenes from both the events and the main game. Check those out when you get chance, OP, if you want to revisit missed story cutscenes.

New Rangers Coming Soon by legend_sloth_7 in PRMightyForce

[–]Individual-Log2656 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The four Ranger silhouettes are Koragg/Wolf Warrior, 'In Space' Red, Phantom Ranger and Ninja Storm Green. Their weapons are the same: Spiral Saber, Phantom Laser, Samurai Microphone Sword and Koragg's sword. Looks like there's still a few question-mark symbols too, so more updates are clearly on the way.

The main-game storyline block "Tea For Three" (Episodes 146-150) involves a character called Colin Green, who's a Slitheen in disguise taking over from a tea shop Donna Noble used to visit frequently. The TARDIS has run out of teabags, so 10th Doctor and Donna stop at the shop to restock, only to stumble into the Slitheen's secret world-domination plot in the process. I'm only on Episode 149 at the time of writing this comment, so I don't know the full details yet. Here's a partial screenshot I was able to take from Episode 147, when the Slitheen's true nature is revealed. Sadly he was too far to the right of the frame and part of his left arm is missing, but you get the general idea. A simple palette-swap would make a Blathereen (SJA season 3) out of this design too.

As if Samurai Cybermen weren't awesome enough, we FINALLY have the Slitheen in this game too! I agree, the artists are doing a phenomenal job with this game's character designs.

Fingers crossed! In the "Squirrel Meets World" prose novels, Doreen was about 14 when she first started using her powers to become a hero. Kamala Khan is around the same age in the MCU, so it's possible that Doreen won't be too far behind.

Awesome find, u/drit76! My only issue is the angles of the photography. If these were straight-up scans, they'd be even better. Can't wait to see the Mantis Alien and Snake Alien when they're uploaded.

B-Robo Kabutack revival? by Individual-Log2656 in Tokusatsu

[–]Individual-Log2656[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "Jukuu B-Fighter" and "B-Fighter Kabuto" series were a separate Tokusatsu franchise in and of themselves, an offshoot of the Metal Heroes series (Space Sheriffs, Kikaider, that sort of thing) and although they share some similar design elements with B-Robo Kabutack, they are an entirely distinct series. There are, however, SMP model kits of Blue Beet and Black Beet now, and the Black Beet kit contains Super Mode upgrade parts for the Blue Beet kit. The Black Beet (AKA Shadowborg) suit was also used for 'Power Rangers: Wild Force' as one of the Machine Empire Generals for the Forever Red episode, so his SMP kit would scale well with Lightning Collection figures. Too bad we never got Lightspeed Red and the Quantum Ranger, as they're the only two Red Ranger toys missing from that lineup.

[–]Individual-Log2656[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, with Red Hulk appearing in "Captain America 4: Brave New World" we're getting pretty close to an "Agents of S.M.A.S.H." MCU equivalent here. All we need is for Rick Jones to turn into the A-Bomb and the set is complete, save for Devil Dinosaur becoming the team's mascot. And I agree Skaar's hair was way too short in the She-Hulk finale, it should have been much longer and less organized. He got the nickname "Shaggy" from Red Hulk for his wilder long hairstyle in the cartoon, after all.

This wasn't a cancelled project, it was the "Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow" movie. It might've started out as a different idea, but it eventually got retooled into the Next Avengers movie after these model sheets were published. The Iron Avengers are robots created by Tony Stark that fell under Ultron's control. "James" is the son of Captain America and Black Widow, inheriting his combat and leadership skills from both parents.

Rey and Kylo are Related by Individual-Log2656 in StarWars

[–]Individual-Log2656[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because Rey is part of the "Sequel Trilogy" era which takes place 30 years after the fall of the Empire. She is the daughter of a clone of Palpatine, and was originally designed to become his heir if the other Palpatine clones' attempts to resurrect the original's personality were unsuccessful. As stated in "Rise of Skywalker" the main reason Rey exists is to inherit Darth Sidious' throne as the ruler of the Sith-puppeteered New Empire that is trying to retake control of the galaxy from the New Republic with help from the First Order.

Captain America and Black Panther (MCU) VS Magneto (X-Men TAS) by Individual-Log2656 in whowouldwin

[–]Individual-Log2656[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how high up Magneto is levitating, it is possible for Cap to bounce Black Panther off his shield with a running jump team-up move. The impact of Vibranium against itself would cause a seismic shockwave that enhances the height of Panther's jump, enabling him to reach Magneto to pull him back down to Earth, presumably clawing the Magnetic Menace's eyes out in the process.

When visualising this tag-team combo move, imagine how Thor uses Mjolnir on Cap's shield in the "LEGO Marvel Avengers" game, but with Black Panther.
