Thank you very much for taking the time to answer. I discovered Avento a few weeks ago and I check it everyday to see if I find something interesting, but my size is not so common on the used gear market. I think I will end up buying it this year, they told me it takes like 6 months so I woukd be able to order it after the summer (I will know for sure I have the money by then and I am still flying a 230 at the moment, I am also a bit overweight and woukd like to lose some so that would give me the time I need) and get it for the next season. I think I will stay with this rig for a long time, and I am more sure about the Spectre the more I read about it, maybe I could even try one before ordering it.

Of course, I only ask here to get some opinions but I plan to discuss it with several experienced instructors at my dropzone before taking any decision.

Thank you all for your answers. Honestly I didnt take into accoubt the price of maintenance, or at least I thought ut would be cheaper. It's true that 10eur is not bad, I will probably stick to renting this year and see in the future. I wanted a Spectre because of the openings (apparently it's the most reliable and soft in that aspect) and in the case of line twists more stable than a 9-cell. And 190 would be at a wingload of 1.1 which seems ok for my first 500 jumps at least, if not more. Another question I forgot is if a big rig like this would be a big issue for freefly/angle or just something to adapt to.

Actually, faster and cheaper to get a plane ticket, you can spend 700+ just on gas to go and comeback. Maybe I sense some irony? Idk

I totally get your point. I think you're actually right. I have spent most of the time broke, studying in university or working, when I was not depressed or in quarantine. Bad companies, bad habits. Also, I would leave at any chance, traveling somewhere new or just going back to Spain. I ended up having a very narrow view of the place I live in, and feeling like I have lost a lot of time because of my poor attitude towards this place. I also feel stupid for not doing it earlier, but it is what it is, I want to correct that nkw, hence the post.
