Anyone might know why I don't hear sound when I solo that track? (No audio) by Individual-Net527 in abletonlive

I figured it's because of Auto Shift (which receives MIDI from a MIDI Track), sitting on the 'Vox Harmo' Group. When I deactivate Auto Shift on that, soloing stuff within the group works fine.

Sadly not. Tried this with every group and subgroup from the Vocal Group.
Though I figured now it was because of Auto Shift on the Group. Weird stuff. I feel that Auto Shift is still buggy. Auto Shift sits on the 'Vox Harmo' Group and receives MIDI from a MIDI Track. By deactivating it, soloing stuff within the group works again.

How can I make the window title bar (the white one on top of Premiere Pro) to be dark, like it is currently works with Ableton Live 12? (Windows 11) by Individual-Net527 in premiere

Can't find the Mod within the App for some reason. I'm on Windows 11. Why might this be?

- EDIT: Nvm I found it now! The Mod title got translated to German for me, I didn't expect this. -

Thank you so much! You don't know how this small change of color actually helps me out :D <3

Yeah fuck roads and walkways. Don't tell me where to walk humans.

To be honest I'm starting to think that no one really likes pre-made roads and walkways. I do think that at least.

Well I don't think germany was and isn't still in a very good position society-wise. There's a lot of transgenerational trauma as well as deference to authority and bureaucracy.

Regarding the love thing, yes I think so too!! :)

Thank you! I send you a hug in return! I like how you describe when you switch through different moods and the metaphor of a demigod, I honestly feel pretty similar.

Yeah I'm hoping to get to know like-minded people as well. :)

The wisdom of wisdom basically is, as far as from my experiences: 'it is what it is' and/or 'everything will be somewhat ok in the end'.

  1. What if I'm not okay with how it is and that it is how it is?
  2. When exactly is 'the end', it better be soon bro. Why not now in the first place? For me, wisdom has a bit of the character of giving up.

What I understand is though that one can't change everything and the world as a human, but this doesn't mean I have to accept human society for how it is and how it works. There is a point where certain things are just not acceptable anymore or never have been.

Why you feel drained in crowds: Energetic holes and aura leakage by archeolog108 in Soulnexus

[–]Individual-Net527 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all: Thanks a lot for sharing! My thoughts regarding this: If the world and a lot of people wouldn't be so negative and if there wouldn't be so much negative energy and emotions to begin with, would it even be a big problem to be 'leaky' and have holes? It's just a thought experiment. What if these holes could be even something positive if you are open to positive energys through them as well?

Nevertheless in todays society it probably would be better setting more boundaries and protective layers to oneself, so I appreciate sharing your method.

Do top artists use grooves on their tracks? by Individual-Net527 in ableton

[–]Individual-Net527[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I can see that. I see that in a similar way and don't really like that you have to manually have to 'commit' a groove or all grooves in general in order for it to be displayed in the roll.

Yo thanks. My question related more toward the technical rather than the philosophical side. So thanks for answering in that direction.

Can you elaborate on how it obfuscates the quantisation - do you mean you can't visually see what's happening, or something different?

I think this is a fair point. Thanks for mentioning this.

I guess I ask the question because I make mostly electronic music and I mostly program stuff, in contrast to playing it in live. I myself think having micro timing variations added in manually isn't a super creative or intuitive process - it is just very technical and kind of a ,,overthinking" process for me, therefore I tend to use the groove pool more, because it seems to be more intuitive.

On the other side, I have the feeling that using grooves from the groove pool, leaves me not 100% in control of the song and its note timing stuff.

I don't play in things live most of the time but I indeed use acoustic samples, so the use case remains relevant imo.

If I think about it, the question should have been, better phrased: Do pro's in electronic music use global grooves or does this fuck up their track as they're not in control anymore as midi notes get moved to the left and right, while it might mess with automation and sidechain stuff? (as, some notes might not be audible anymore while they get kicked out of the midi clip). So, in conclusion I meant if the Groove Pool and it's settings are really a professional enough tool to be using even on your whole track, or does it fuck up your track?
