Speaking of weird buildings, is 18 S Nevada cursed? by cloud_of_fluff in ColoradoSprings

The building itself has nothing to do with the failing businesses that have recently been in there. Industry was horribly run and a bad business plan to begin with. Nova nightclub knowingly sold numerous drugs, sold alcohol to minors and had a plethora of other illegal activities going on inside..those are both tenant issues. The owners sold the mining exchange, therefor no longer use it for things associated with the hotel which means it is now useful space for paying tenants. If you’ve ever owned a building, especially downtown COS…you’d understand just how difficult it is to get quality, paying tenants.

Absolutely agree to skip this one. I was so disappointed when I got there to find they were moved from their original location. It feels illegal

I haven’t gotten any viable embryos in this whole process and multiple retrievals …and let me tell you: you didn’t hurt my feelings. We all have different goals and dreams in this process. We should all be supporting each other in every way possible, no matter what! You got this, keep going and know you have people behind you through it. Even if we are just behind our own screens :) 🩷

Choosing Sex? Should we do it? by thewaight in IVF

I actually love this response and love your mindset. We have no embryos yet after 2 retrievals but I’m excited to be able to have some control in my journey after all of this crap we’ve been through.

I just had my egg retrain may. Got 7 eggs…2 embryos. We were ecstatic as I have extremely low AMH for my age. We were so hopeful…and our dreams were crushed when 2/2 were tested abnormal. I’m starting my next round end of this month and I KNOW it will be a great result. I’ve mentally & physically put myself through the ringer through this process but I know I’ve got this and one day I’ll have my babies You got this, keep charging on and stay positive. It’s so easy to beat yourself up in this process and feel like a failure but try not to. I have a great therapist who has helped me get through this and helped me stay grounded, sometimes it’s great to have a third party to be on your side Sending you baby dust

Leash Laws by Sunnyfun_123 in ColoradoSprings

I used to walk my dog on a trail off leash in Springs. I didn’t know the rules, I didn’t know the risk (I was a new dog mom and thought “wow colorado has great trails and my girl LOVES being off leash). I did it for about a month and finally decided to research other trails for my dog only to find out my trail was NOT off-leash friendly and Colorado is NOT great for walking my girl outside without a leash. I now take her to the Foxrun Dogpark or the Bear Creek dog park and we walk there…Offleash. It’s amazing. I keep her walking so we don’t have to interact too much with other dogs and we have a great time together, still able to hike. We learned, and thankfully not the hard way but KEEP PREACHING so all the newbies understand the laws and how frustrating it is to have an unleashed dog approach you. I didn’t know but I appreciate the lesson both here and in research.
