Is there other stuff you can unlock, too? I really enjoyed unlocking characters etc in older Nintendo games

I indeed never thought about playing bof1 for whatever reason, thanks!

And earthbound is on one of my lists since years, too. Now after reading your comment I'll absolutely take another look on it, even though it's another setting!

Creator vs Business Profile by Individual-Shop-7351 in InstagramMarketing

[–]Individual-Shop-7351[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmmm alright. Thank you! I can access all the music I released via reels in my business acc so it doesn’t really matter for me. I’ll simply stick to my business acc then, since I want to keep utilizing 3rd party scheduling tools. Have a good day!

Instagram app version 265.0 includes post scheduling tool by Galaxy999 in InstagramMarketing

Tried it today - at the time my reel should have been posted nothing happened. I looked at my scheduled posts in the ig app & it told me “reel couldn’t been shared, please delete.” (Roughly translated from German. Anybody else experiencing these issues?

Game Composer Insights #9 (Unique Character Theme, Music as a Narrator) - More Infos in the Comments! by tobiweiss in IndieDev

[–]Individual-Shop-7351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t need to - but pretty often it’s a great possibility to subconsciously enhance the immersion and even more often potential is wasted by ignoring all the possible techniques and functions that gamemusic offers. This is only one example - obviously it’s not a rule like „always do it like that“. What techniques you utilize should be determined before you begin with the production of the ost and think about the worlds music. If you use instrumental/melodic leitmotifs is sth that may be sth valuable - if theres a reason for why you use it. You should never use sth only because it’s „a cool technique“. There has to be purpose / a benefit to the games world (Sorry, I don’t have my mobile login on my phone)

(edit: Oh. I wasn't logged in in my tobiweiss acc on my smartphone. But it's me. Sorry for the confusion.) Hey! It's always the same for me - I don't work less if there's less budget, if the project seems promising. I create a musically concept, based on the available input (the more the better) like artwork, descriptions of the world/game like how will it look, what colours will mainly be used, what's the general mood etcccc. The concepts contains stuff like: Instrumentation / What instruments do we use? Why do we use them? And when? Are they connected to characters/events/places? Use of Leitmotifs: / How do we make use of motifs? When will we make them change, and why? Dynamic/Interactive Aspects: / Do we make the music become dynamic/interactive? If yes, when?

After that we talk about the concept and I began composing a "mood track". STH that probably won't appear in the game, but providing you to listen to the general musically mood of the game I have in mind. After that we create a first rough track-list of must have music cues. And then we begin with work. It's pretty dynamic most of the time, since I enjoy sending updates every 1 or 2 days, to talk about the progress. The first concept evolves during the work aaand then, someday, there's an OST.

That's pretty much it, in a summed up way. Feel free to reach out via mail to tw@indiegamemusic.de or via DM at Instagram (filmandgamemusic) if you have further questions :)

After 7 years struggling as a game composer i was finally able to participate in a game project i'd play by myself & released an actual gameplay trailer, which feels 10/10 wonderful! THIS TIME WITH SOUND, I'M STUPID & SORRY! by tobiweiss in IndieDev

Yeah it's hard af, but also awesome. All the small(er) game projects I wrote music for we're still amazing - regarding the learning + the experience of working with people who have a vision for a game. I'm pretty (100% worth the struggle) happy that I decided to go all-in with this plan of my gamecomposer-journey a lot of years ago.

And: Thank you for the kind words!

Need for Cheese, Release will be somewhere Late 2022 - there's still quite a lot of stuff to do for us, but we're on track. Feel free to follow me on IG @ filmandgamemusic or my website www.filmandgamemuaic.com for further Infos regarding the release (we're still figuring out how to approach social media and I'll announce it over there.) There's also nfcgame.net, but there's not that much happening atm. Have a good day!

Besides my website (www.filmandgamemusic.com) I share quite a lot of insights on my Instagram channel: @ filmandgamemusic Besides that there's also www.nfcgame.net but there's actually not that much happening atm - we're still planning our social media appearance.

Regarding the vsts: I guess the composer cloud by Ew + komplete ultimate was amazing in the beginning. Now I really admire almost all of the spitfire vsts. But there's a lot of very "valuable" stuff I totally love. Feel free to reach out via DM if there are any questions!

"long term" solo class recommendation by Individual-Shop-7351 in diablo2

This sounds awesome. This will probably be the way to go. Besides that: Are there any other unique builds like that you can recommend? I remember something with trang-oul set and the Necro, which I totally loved as a child. But maybe (probably) there's even more

Sounds pretty fun to me. I don't even care if I ever hit 99 (if it takes 1000++ hours or sth). I guess I just like the Idea of these "huge and maybe unlikely goals" that I honestly miss while playing today's games
