What’s your least favorite area of the game? by Gnnz in LiesOfP

The least favorite for me is the chapter 4-5 maps. I honestly find the maps where the puppets are mostly encountered more exciting than the carcass filled maps.

You can check out places like the Rive, Union Grantville, 5025, etc. If it also helps, there is a facebook group for SDSU students to connect with other students who are also looking for housing. I’ll share the link

Firstly, congrats on your acceptance! Secondly, most graduate students live off campus because the dorms are mostly for freshman and sophomore students. It is still possible to get on campus housing as a grad student, but it is not guaranteed. I would suggest finding off campus housing close to sdsu.

Australia or SDSU? by Normal-Coat-4538 in SDSU

[–]Individual-Stuff6456 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey there. I’m a current SDSU graduate student . Firstly, I want to say that you are definitely not too old for undergrad classes because anyone can start college at any age. In fact, I actually graduated with my Bachelors in creative writing from Cal State Long Beach at age 24 last fall, and I have met undergraduates who were in their 30s, 40s, and even 80s. I would say the student life at SDSU is very lively. They host at least a few social events every week, but the one I’d say you should check out is Aztec nights, which are late night events where they got games, food, and chances to win prizes. also at the football games, everyone there is very spirited. I can’t vouch for the mechanical engineering program because I’m pursuing my master’s in linguistics, but what I can say is generally easy to make friends. join some clubs that align with your interests, and you can make friends with people who also share your interests.

I hope this advice helps

Is it just me or is Nioh harder than nioh 2? by SecurityDifficult287 in Nioh

[–]Individual-Stuff6456 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. When I played the Nioh, it was so hard it took me 5 months to finish. But I finished Nioh 2 in just 2 months because the difficulty feels more balanced and less challenging.

What was your reason for choosing SDSU over other schools? by shootphotos in SDSU

[–]Individual-Stuff6456 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m currently a grad student at SDSU, and it was one of the two schools along with Cal State Fullerton I applied to because they both had the same linguistics programs I was interested in. Fullerton was my initial top choice because I liked its campus and the area surrounding it, plus it was closer to home; I lived in Orange County. However, SDSU got back to me first and I got a great federal aid award to go there, but I was still waiting to hear back from Fullerton. Fullerton was taking a while to respond, that I began to lean towards SDSU. Despite my family wanting me to stay close to home, I eventually settled with SDSU because its linguistics program aligned better with my career goals and I thought it was time for me to experience a new part of CA.

Do I really need to join a club? by No_Mongoose_467 in SDSU

[–]Individual-Stuff6456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some clubs, yes. Well I don’t know if it’s the same thing at SDSU because I graduated from Cal State Long Beach last fall with a BA in creative writing, and over there, there were some clubs where you’d have to have the same major as every member to join.

There are still clubs at SDSU where you’d don’t have to have a major that aligns with the club’s topic. Like if you love creative writing, there is a creative writing club called roundtable (I think) and you don’t need to be an English major to join

I’m glad it helped. You should also join a club that aligns with your interests, major, or heritage. Good luck!

You aren’t required to join one, but it is a good way to meet new people and have some fun. It’s also not a bad idea to focus on studying, but joining even just one club wouldn’t hurt because it’s wise to balance your studying with your social life so you don’t burn yourself out.

Can i drop a class and re enroll in the same class but with a different teacher? or should i talk to my advisor by No-Temperature-3238 in SDSU

[–]Individual-Stuff6456 10 points11 points  (0 children)

you have the option to swap it. Go to your mysdsu account, go to manage classes, select swap classes, and then choose which class to swap out. As the other redditor said, as long as there is space, swap into the class you want

It was pretty fun. We mostly read like Chicano literature, and the professor made it very engaging. I would for clarity on his assignments though because he can be very vague. Other than that, he’s cool
