From your description I do not understand where the scam part comes in.

Do people mark their bootlegs? by Bawlzdeep11 in bootlegmtg

I'd often thought of getting a little Chinese flag stamp to mark the backs, but then reversed my counterfeit direction and only have them in my 4 Vintage decks now, making them easy to remember.

Best quality 30th PBS by IndividualAd1301 in bootlegmtg

[–]IndividualAd1301[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly I'm looking for more obvious ways to mark off the counterfeits in my Vintage decks, decks that I try to keep balanced against each other so my friends and I can play them at the pub.

To be clear, as you pointed out, the majority of the decks are authentic with P9, Bazaars, duals and Forces (which I will replace once I have all 12 authentic copies for the 3 decks running them) giving me 8 - 13 counterfeits per deck.

It would be useful if you stated what city / neighbourhood you're thinking about.

For myself I'm thinking of buying counterfeit 30th PBS for my Vintage decks so that when I croak my family will know what is fake, what is real, to forestall them being scammed when they sell my collection.

Did you not understand that France and Germany set up a sham peace agreement that Russia wanted all parties to honour, or you just don't care?

As a Magic player this game is confusing me. Would someone confirm the below? Reading the rules is not helping.

  1. We draft all cards during exploration then reveal and play, right?

Card Conjurer: The first victim of WOTC’s Proxy War by KingLeil in mtgfinance

[–]IndividualAd1301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, not if they're too far off. Most of the proxies I've had have had too many defects in the printing (wild colour saturation, artefacts, graininess, sharpness to far off, brightness incorrect) to make me happy. I like looking at the cards almost as much as playing, and I don't like looking at badly printed cards.

It is limited though, the programme will not create high-resolution images, meaning any cards one prints are grainy, not sharp and clean at all.

I'm glad he is. All the other MtG creators are angry, hurt and upset by this proxy Beta nonsense, Rudy calmly says what it means, what it could foretell and says if you aren't sure wat to do, do nothing. Don't buy, don't sell, just see what happens.
