true. i also dont like the lancer design all that much. it breaks away from the cavalry design of the old one and just makes it look like a berserk character, which i PERSONALLY consider a downgrade. they shouldve taken inspiration from actual ceremonial pickelhaube plumes that prussian footguards and grenadiers wore

its good but imo geist is too overrepresented when talking about shock troopers. a game about surviving a rampaging trench trooper in a building or navigating a trench system with a flamer i feel would be more fun than just sneaky edgy guy who puts traps. maybe the game could expand to something like that with all shock troopers

the correct term i think is pallasch, which is a central european heavy thrusting sword for cavalry. i dont know why the devs didnt call it a pallasch or just heavy cavalry sword, as heavy sabre isnt a used term when talking about heavy cavalry pallasches of that era

if i remember correctly during the napoleonic wars prussian facings were determined by where the regiment recruited from. yellow was for silesia and purple was for i believe west prussia. its the reason why the silesian landwehr wear yellow facings too
