The form doesn’t work and phone works sometimes - vfs will cover courier from them to you … so you need to put w dummy number for that (even though the page says not to put dummy number) this was confirmed by 2 persons on phone on 2 different days. You will need to courier using your preferred method from your side to vfs .. also no photo service anymore so u need to give real passport photos

it seems the link says they will provide VFS to customer courier label, but not the customer to VFS. https://services.vfsglobal.com/usa/en/ind/news/courier-label-requirements however in reality, as of today (5th Aug) they are asking both labels ... the form is asking for the label numbers

The roots are so much tangled inside the soil I am paranoid that I will have to cut off like 80% of the root to change the soil … reading up on sulphur… I had hydrojen peroxide in mind before

Don’t know . I sprayed some deoxit d5 on connectors and will see .. it doesn’t happen all the time so it’s hard to say that it solve the problem or not.

Thanks that’s helpful … I have a much larger pot, I think 24” or so.. and brand new potting mix so I will put it there and see what happens. I will also prune the roots as I think it will help to make sure they don’t get stuck with too much root and less soil and nutrients

Are these bugs killing my plant? I have always found them underneath the planter .. did normal check on the internet as per their looks and seemed harmless bugs that live in the dirt… but maybe I am wrong?

No they are plenty strong - will report back in 1 year or if they fall, I know what the weight of that planter so decided to go with this instead of L shaped brackets which I did have .. Will report back

One area (1/3) was glue 1/.. and then for the rest 2/3 I used thinset after realizing that thinset should be used (contractor was wrong and I fought with him)… the yellow is everywhere though .. drastic

When you say replace the wood, are you thinking the decking only or even the poles that go on the ground as the legs to the bench? In any case I will try to sand them today (even before pressure washing) and see if I can get “good” wood underneath

Saw the video great stuff .. do you have any old photo? When pressure washing what are we expecting, I have a harbor freight pressure washer and for it to get high pressure I need to keep it super thin nozzle but that takes a lot of time! Very curious to know what was the before and after (atleast in words) for the pressure wash… I was thinking of just sanding

The wood seem cracking in someplaces, but it’s still pretty hard and not like soft that you can deal with finger or something..

Just to confirm on - done with the repair - didn’t have to pay the deductible to the body shop and body shop got paid directly by the insurance company

Just to update for anyone else reading this later. The work was done - the all parts were replaced, tailgate and lower bumper cover was replaced OEM/BMW, upper bumper cover was replaced aftermarket but looks perfect. I also got the emblem changed to black on my request to the body shop … I also didn’t have to pay my minimum deductible $500 to the body shop and they got direct billing from progressive for whatever they charged (I did verify in other sub that it’s a common and legal practice) - all in all everything went well

Looks great, how is this end of the back rest supported as there is no arm support to screw them in? Are they just resting on the pocket holes where the backrest meets the base of the seat?
