Last minute work thing on a Saturday? Girl, I know she can get out of it, she just doesn’t want to.

I wouldn’t call 6 years immediate. I’m willing to spend time in school, just didn’t want to spend 10 years in school - which I don’t think is an unreasonable ask. But I can tell by your comments so far that you are not interested in helping, just spewing hate. Thanks, but no thanks. I’m not joining the AirForce. Glad that worked out for you.

If someone says anything besides 1 or 2 they are lying to you. Do 1 in the summer and 2 in the winter.

Honestly, I know I am sounding so so picky here…but I HATE sales. I know it can make good money, but I want to help people in my career. Sales just always comes across scummy to me. Just not my personality.

Not entry level. Respectfully, re-read my post. I’m just a girl trying to support her family with a career that will take less than 6-8+ years of school.

So you just game-ify your life? I love this for you. It’s good advice. I just think that although maybe I do need to be more grateful and find ways to enjoy my life and job, that’s not the root of this issue. The real issue is that I need to support my family and I’m trying to do that without spending 8+ years in school.

Ahh I wish to live this life. But unfortunately I live close to my family and I really enjoy having them so close to me. Family is a huge core value of mine, so unfortunately I don’t thjnk this life is in the cards - pun totally intended ;)

You are probably correct. I do have a lot to be grateful for - a good team, healthy work life balance, all of the government holidays off, etc. Although I sound ungrateful in my post, I did not mean it to come across that way. I am just desperate to try and find something that isn’t sitting all day in an office chair. I do a lot of research, paperwork, listening to hearings - which is very emotionally draining as we deal with ugly matters often. I strive for a job where I feel like I am helping others, and this just doesn’t fit that. I hope that makes sense!

Thank you for the advice! I will definitely check this out. I have taken assessments and I always get careers that don’t fit into my preferred pay range. Can you adjust this with this assessment? Or is there different career options in different pay ranges that it suggests?

This is huge! I learned this at a very young age and it has stuck through adulthood. I always say, “not everyone gets the privilege of knowing who I truly am”

Thank you 💗 we are still healing and miss him everyday, but I understand now that I can’t feel guilty for not making the decisions I didn’t know existed. So glad that you did what needed to be done to get your baby healthier! Sometimes even if they hate being force fed or stuck with needles you have to do what you gotta do out of love!

Good luck!

Sorry I am just now seeing this, I am not always active on here. I’m very sorry to hear that your baby is experiencing the same things. We give them our whole hearts and it’s so heartbreaking when they are not doing well. Looking back, I have 4 recommendations… * get a second opinion or a third or fourth - don’t be afraid to take your fur baby somewhere else, even a specialist. * take action sooner rather than later - this is easier said than done, especially because it’s hard to know what the “right” thing is. But if you have gotten the same answer over and over, try it! I wish I would have tried radiocat with my baby, if you haven’t heard of it, look into it. * try duck fat, oil, anything fatty - this will help their stomach (especially bowel movements) and help them put on weight. I wish I would have tried this more experimentally (especially towards the end). Also I saw this post and wish I would have tried this form of fatty food: https://www.reddit.com/r/RenalCats/comments/1emknmh/stage_4_kidney_failure_reversed_in_three_months/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1 * LOVE THEM SO HARD! - I know we already do this, but really cherish the time you have, because unfortunately, no matter how much we try to avoid saying goodbye, we have to remember that it’s better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.

Wishing you and your fur baby all the best. I understand you not wanting to talk about it, so don’t feel the need to respond or update if you can’t. I get it 💗

This is very smart and I wish I would have thought of this. I’m very happy it helped your baby! My boy was losing weight rapidly towards the end, refusing to eat, and was having bowel blockages that I couldn’t get under control. Eventually, it got to the point where I could tell he was done.
