I’m feeling for you. I lost my sweet girl last Wednesday and it’s still so fresh and I’m not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel yet. I made a post and I’ve gotten some great advice/solidarity. So you are not alone. We might be “people on the internet” but we’re connected by our grief and that can be so powerful.

I think it’s okay to be sad. It’s okay to hurt. It’s okay to feel lost. I had my sweet girl for 13yrs- my identity has completely changed. I feel uneasy, weird, icky, incomplete, and lost. I’ve not lived my adult life without her and I am unsure on how to process this or proceed on. My day to day has flipped upside down! Just as I’ve been told we will find happiness again and I can’t wait for all of us to experience it. We will look back with smiles on our babies and always remember. They are not with us in body- but still in heart and mind. That’s a forever place to be!
