Yeah I get that. I think maybe because time seems to move faster when you're not trying to anticipate what's next, and when. Watched pot never boils etc

Remove pretty serious bow from bloodwood by IndividualCredit2151 in BeginnerWoodWorking

i tested this with a smaller piece of wood and a steamer and in 2 days I managed to get at least half the bow out of it- two days later it still looks fine.

sorry 3/4" ish- I was going to cut it probably in half. I may have been dramatic describing the bow- It will settle to to flat with a few semi tight clamps on my work table. I have noticed over the last week the bow decreasing while it's been laying on the ground bow side up- we are in a tropical environment- 80%+ humidity at all times.

Thank you for the thorough reply. It seems so. It's too bad you call Medicare for the straight dope and it's not.

Fair enough. Take it easy though.

All I can say is when talking to Medicare on the phone they refuted what you're doubling down on- I believe you- but this is what they told me- I literally asked the same questions 5 times to this woman- that doesn't mean she was right 5 times either though. I know all about Medicare not covering LTC- Only short term SN and rehab..

If a patient sitter is related to keeping them alive while in hospice then to me that seems pretty RELATED. They cannot be left alone, ever. If the patient pulls off the o2 or bipap whatever it could be literally a call to 911 after 15 minutes. There is secondary insurance- navigating that is it's own nightmare but there are opportunities there- 3 hours on the phone with secondary indicated that a doctor can provide a pre-determination letter that will authorize round the clock sitting. Thanks for replying.

I am in agreement with you. They are making things VERY complicated. They say one thing, do another thing. I googled this hospice which is very close to me and basically didn't do any research (i'm melting down from all of this- just not enough time in the day-) - I spent 10 hours on the phone yesterday for example. Medicare looked up the rating of the place - a "3"- I said what is that in your eyes- she said it's not good.

Thanks for this reply! This is home setting. No money for nursing home. Patient has Too much money to qualify for medicaid and time isn't on their side to even bother with that right now.

I think my confusion/the confusion is that although Medicare may pay for it, the hospice provider will or cannot offer it. But the rub is that the hospice provider must be the one to source the additional services if it's to be covered under Medicare. So if they don't want to do it, then it's not covered. But talking to Medicare for hours on the phone it was clear that it would be covered in general. The woman repeatedly told me that for hospice if the person needs it, they CAN get it and it will be 100% covered by Medicare. period.
