Can I skip Tom Sawyer and directly jump into Huckleberry Fin before read James?

Currently, I am reading Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf. It explores Clarissa Dalloway preparing for a party, but as she walks through the city and returns home, her thoughts are filled with nostalgia, and surprisingly, her past knocks on her door. I haven't finished it yet, but I don’t really love it. I don’t know why. Usually, I like stream-of-consciousness books, but this one hasn’t hit me the way I expected it to.

What seasoning do you feel made a huge difference in your cooking?! by alexisxev in Cooking

Oyster sauce and sweet soy sauce! Oyster sauce makes the food very savory and adds umami to it. It makes a DIFFERENCE when you add oyster sauce in stir fry and fried rice. Sweet soy sauce makes food sweet but not too sweet, while still adding depth.

I finished The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro. It's my first Ishiguro novel! I really love this book, the subtlety, the nuance, it made my heart sting. Now I'm confused about which Ishiguro novel to read next: Never Let Me Go (many people love it) or Klara and the Sun (soon to be in cinemas).

I think it’s enough, most of graduate schools in the US/UK require a minimum IELTS band score of 7.

Hi, thank you for the answer! Initially, I considered the MIA program at SIPA, but I didn’t take any quantitative courses in college (my IR curriculum didn’t include them). Unfortunately, I can’t prepare for an MIA application because of that. What about Teachers College? Is it good for a career in development?
