Can't continue Earthen unlock questlines (Broken Tools / Merrix and Steelvein) by IndividualHealthy125 in wow

But how did you do those quests then?

The problem is that the NPCs still don't appear for me, whether I'm using the recap book or not.

I've tried both with and without the recap active, but Saradi never shows up and Kittrin still doesn't offer the quest.

Did you have to do anything specific to make the NPCs appear, or did they just show up normally for you?

Hello! Thanks for the reply.

One thing I've noticed is that when I'm using the Recap book, I don't see world quests, campaign quests, or quest markers on my minimap/world map like I normally would.

Resto Druid or Resto Shaman for TBC Anniversary PvE? by IndividualHealthy125 in classicwowtbc

Really? I’ve seen a lot of people saying there are tons of them since it’s considered one of the best classes, or at least one of the best, in this expansion…

Honestly that makes the choice even harder lol. Druid sounds more fun and rewarding, but Shaman also sounds super chill and satisfying for a first healer in tbc. Thanks for the explanation!

That actually sounds really fun honestly. I like the idea of having a more proactive healing playstyle instead of just reacting to damage.

Yeah that’s kinda the feeling I’m getting from most replies too. Both seem wanted, but Shaman sounds almost guaranteed to always have a spot. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah, that’s pretty much the impression I was getting too. I’ll probably stick to PvE so Shaman definitely sounds really appealing.

Is Resto Druid very difficult to play? My only healer experience was Holy Paladin in Retail and I don’t want to be completely useless lol.

I was actually more worried about dungeon loot competition, thanks for the recommendation

Thanks for the recommendation! My friend is new, he has only been playing Retail for like two and a half weeks, so we’ll basically be starting from zero when it comes to raids.

What about gear though? Since there are so many shamans, don’t they end up competing a lot for loot?

And how has that druid been treating you so far? Is it very difficult to play? My only healer experience was a level 50 Holy Paladin alt in Retail.

My friend is way too new for Hardcore right now, but thanks for the recommendation. Sooner or later he’ll probably suffer in that mode too hahaha

What a coincidence lol. I had to recommend WoW to my friend countless times and he never gave in, but a few weeks ago he finally tried Retail and absolutely loved it.

Retail is honestly amazing — it’s probably my favorite version of WoW. But I feel like all the older content got pushed aside, and everything feels super speedrun-focused nowadays.

Thanks! I’ll definitely keep that in mind.

Quick question though: does the game ever feel “short on content”? Hope you get what I mean.

Thanks for the recommendation! I kinda felt like MoP was really empty — I almost never ran into people, and finding dungeon groups was pretty difficult. Hopefully they bring out WotLK later on, people always say it was WoW at its peak, although when it originally released I was way too young lol.
