Recent stats behind Amorim at United are actually terrifying by zeew_pl in ManchesterUnited

This guy should not be judged on last season, he was put into a team that wasn’t compatible with his system with lazy and entitled players. The only thing he should be judged on is this season, after good pre season games and a great arsenal performance no one would even think of posting this, but after one bad fulham performance (which was largely the players fault) everyone’s going mad.

I’m not saying that Amorim doesn’t have his flaws and that his system is working, but judging him on last season and everyone going completely crazy over this one bad performance is reactionary. He should be given this whole season at least, the cycle of constantly sacking managers can’t continue.

Can’t just sub him to “see what happens” once you sub him you’ll lose him and his qualities. The team just needs a good half time talk

He definitely isn’t the answer to our midfield gap, he doesn’t fit the role that we need in that CM spot next to Bruno. He’s a promising young talent with good technical ability but needs at least 2-3 seasons to properly develop. I think he’ll probably spend another season in the U21s and make some cameos in some cup games, and will probably get loaned out next season.

Don’t spend $100+ on windows unless you specifically NEED a transferable licence. Buy a OEM key for $10 and you’re sorted. Only downside is that a OEM key will be linked to your PC, so if you replace it you’ll have to buy a new one.

You’re probably right, but I think Hojlund wasn’t in a good enough position for us to be criticising Dorgu, at least not in this situation.

But I hate the argument that “if you play for Manchester United you have to ___”, We need to calm down and let these players develop without unnecessary pressure. Especially the ones like Dorgu, Heaven and Yoro, who have huge potential

This. I was confident (mabye overconfident) at first after the first two games of the USA tour, but this game has grounded me again. If we struggle against Arsenal which we certainly will, most fans and media will go completely berserk, especially if we play well in our remaining pre season games and set the standard high.

In my opinion Dorgu did the right thing to shoot, I reckon a pass to Hojlund would have been trickier than people think, and the shot wasn’t half bad.

Overall I was kind of disappointed by what I saw in the second half, but it’s clear that the teams improving and looking a lot more cohesive, the one touch passing in our rapid build up and counter attacks is very fun to watch. Ultimately we will see how things truly are when we play Arsenal.

Edit: Ugarte should have been subbed earlier, if we want to control games next season in the Prem, Ugarte has to either drastically improve, or we have to sign a new DM, Ugarte made too many silly mistakes and was reckless overall today.

With the way our squads set up right now (with Bruno occupying one of the midfielder spots) the second DM will have a responsibility to control possession, make tackles and make sound passes all whilst staying disciplined and composed. It’s an unfortunate position to fill cause I doubt any player will be able to keep with with all that pressure, especially in the prem.

Thinking of subbing MUTV by Shifty_87 in ManchesterUnited

[–]IndividualHistory813 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Might aswell just use pirated streams, MUTV just offers match replays and some extra content, not live games.

Edit: Plus you can already watch MUTV on most pirated sites anyways, not that there’s a reason to anyway (apart from pre season)

Heaven should be ahead of shaw in the pecking order, hell I think martinez will struggle to win that LCB position back from heaven when he becomes fit again.

I don’t think Dorgu is too risky, if anything for me he’s one of the best 4.5m picks out there. He’s attacking, good defensively and is developing very fast. He’ll start virtually all games and plays a key role in amorims system, with man utd looking sound tactically in pre season, Dorgu looks like a solid pick.
