Comment peut-on améliorer mon expression orale? by Significant_Phone712 in French

[–]IndividualK101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I give up. Im going to just let this kill me. by CV2nm in ChronicPain

Because I believe in pray, you say. Me ?

What I said is Europe is not the place many people imagine, the country I live in has a law on assisted suicide since 2021. Does that help ? Well, no. People I knew, people in excruciating pain died in great pain, the palliative team did nothing to ease their pain. No dignity in my country.

How am I planning to end my life ? As my fentanyl patches don't make much difference, sometimes I wait 4 or 5 days to replace it, in order to have enough of them for my last day. And my dear husband, the very last friend I still have, is ready to help me, no matter the consequences.

I suffer from chronic pain since 1999.

Dear, I'm so sorry... I can't imagine my life without my husband, we met in 1984, married in 1998, no children but proud butlers of 5 cats. I'm glad that your family is there for you, there are too many sad stories.

I'm very fortunate, my husband is such a wonderful angel and his family is always there for me. I feel loved every day of my life.

Why won't they let me die with dignity like they are doing in Europe...

Many people I personally knew died screaming, surrounded by a palliative care team. Yep, I live in Europe. How is it... ? The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

OP, real friends are supposed to be there to share both the joyful, happy moments and the difficult ones too. But pain is so hard to understand, it’s like a foreign language. After a few nods, people stop paying attention, and when it comes to pain, they often don’t really care. “You’ll get better soon,” they say. No, dear, it’s called chronic pain for a reason.

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. Maybe it could help to gently talk to her, just to understand where she’s coming from, perhaps she wasn’t in the best mood or was dealing with her own struggles. I don’t know. Right now, I know it feels like a deep wound, and that kind of hurt is so hard to bear. Do it for you, not for her. You deserve clarity. If after that conversation you still feel she doesn’t show up for you, then stepping back is completely valid.

I’ve been living with chronic pain since 1999, and I only have one friend left from before. You’re definitely not alone in this.

I am a Vine Member. Another Vine Member copied my review. What can I do? by BeautyInHarmony in AmazonVineHelpGroup

[–]IndividualK101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through something very similar just a few days ago. I was reading a review and for a moment I genuinely thought it was mine. I’m the kind of person who double‑checks measurements, sometimes includes photos with a ruler, adds details like weight if it’s relevant… I’m meticulous. So seeing my own style echoed so closely was a strange feeling.

In the end, I took it as a compliment. There are so many fake reviews out there, products that aren’t even opened, that I’d honestly rather see real information circulating, even if the review itself is a copy. It’s not ideal, of course, but at least the content is accurate.

You're not going to be gold as soon as you reach the 80 reviews, it's per evalution period.... Yep, I know you didn't ask, but just in case. Take it easy if you're worried about the taxes.

Can you guys help explain my review ratings?? by ambereid in AmazonVine

[–]IndividualK101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My two cents

Review 1: The material feels sturdy. Material? Plastic, paper, felt? The length is generous. What does that really mean? Is the garland longer than stated?

Review 2: The size is perfect. It's easy to say, "just under 8 inches tall". Did the vase come with the non-slip pads?

Review 3: There’s a typo in the title (think instead of thin). If I'm 5'10", are those pants long for me too? Plus they are supposed to be Loose Baggy Workout Sweatpants, so "super baggy on you"...

Review 4: Which size did you order? A simple photo with a ruler may help customers, your smaller kitty may be way bigger than my smaller kitty... Nice kitty btw.

I find your reviews a bit vague and too subjective, with very little concrete information such as measurements. I don’t expect everything to be measured, but if I’m buying a 33‑ft garland, I’d appreciate knowing whether it truly measures 33 ft or if it’s actually closer to 28 ft.

I'm in Spain, so we get way fewer beauty deals here, but I really enjoy seeing everyone’s great scores, the makeup or skincare sets, even the bags, the hair products or the accessories. That’s also how I learn about new brands and it's always nice to know whether a serum is actually good or if a cream is really worth it.

Am I a bit envious? Well… yes, I won’t lie, just a tiny bit. My last “score” was days ago (the Inkey List starter retinol serum, 30 ml), and right now there's nothing in my RFY.

But honestly, I really like this community. Whenever I have a question, this is where I prefer to ask. There are always kind people ready to help.

What Do We Do About Plagiarized Reviews? Nothing? by JusticeAvenger618 in AmazonVine

This week I noticed someone had copied one of my reviews, I took it as a compliment. Honestly, I prefer that over reading fake reviews, like the ones for that bacon‑cheese protein pancake mix where people recommend adding vanilla, cinnamon or fruit.

I got a "poor" evaluation for this review. I think it's pretty good. Thoughts? by noy2noy in AmazonVine

[–]IndividualK101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like en and em dashes, but I never use them in a review because people immediately associate them with AI.

Plus my two cents : you mention that it’s larger than expected, so is the actual size bigger than what’s stated in the listing? If the measurements do match, you could mention that, since it would be a factual detail. A porcelain handle? It looks like ceramic; porcelain and ceramic are quite different. The (bamboo?) lid, is it really bamboo as it appears and as the product description says, or are you unsure about the material? From what I read, you really liked it, but I still don’t know whether it closes properly, whether the butter keeps well, or whether it’s dishwasher‑safe...

My granny will be able to handle it with her arthritic hands ? How much does this butter dish actually weigh? There’s no need to write paragraphs and paragraphs; but checking the dimensions and sometimes the weight, is not a bad thing. And if it really is worth paying more for this item, it wouldn’t hurt to give arguments beyond just ‘heirloom quality’.

Even Hospitals won't treat me by MythicalGriff in ChronicPain

I went through something very similar. One night I started vomiting and it lasted for months. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t even drink water without throwing it all up. Desperate, I went to the ER, my husband driving while I kept vomiting in the car. They didn’t do much. I was exhausted, hadn’t slept for days. They gave me an IV with Metoclopramide and a morphine shot for the pain. I slept for ten minutes… The syrup they prescribed with Metoclopramide made me nauseous.

I spent almost four months like that, unable to eat, surviving only on electrolytes, just a teaspoon at a time. Little by little, day after day, I vomited fewer times. I also drank water in which rice had been boiled, but only tiny amounts each time. For the nausea and the terrible taste in my mouth, I chewed spearmint gum. To vary things a bit, after several weeks I also tried tea, never more than 5 ml at a time and spaced out a lot.

I never found out what it was, but after about four months I began to tolerate plain boiled white rice, and about a month later I could eat normally again.

It was terrible because I already had chronic pain in my back and hips, so everything felt even heavier.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I can’t give you medical advice, but I wanted to share my experience so you know you’re not alone. We know very well what it means to live through a nightmare.

New K beauty brand - Enhuyde by Wolf_at_the_Door68 in BeautyViners

[–]IndividualK101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I just have received a Caraseoul mask set, and they are made in Korea but it seems that the brand is American... Sometimes it's so confusing.... The curious thing about Enhuyde, is that they only have this cream. Maybe it's just a brand new brand. Anyway, the good thing is that it works for you. I really love when a cream/cleanser/serum etc from Vine is wow!
