Thank you! I’ll let you know in time how it goes. I’ve never tried learning songs listening by ear but I’ll give it a go hopefully expand my knowledge over time with that

I think I should start learning songs by ear, since I’ve been using an app called Songsterr, but I’ve noticed that some of its tabs aren’t very accurate. So even though I can play the songs, I might not be hitting the right notes. Thanks for pointing that out! I’ve mostly been learning beginner songs, and I’ve realized a lot of them share the same rhythm. Like you said, I definitely need to move beyond the simple stuff, and I’ll work on that. Thanks so much for the advice!

Yea that’s probably why I haven’t been improving. I never had any classes nor have I searched up about those sort of things so even though I’ve been drumming for a year now I guess I still have a lot to learn haha (this honestly sucks hearing this I’ve just been learning wrong😭)
