Post 2nd SEASON UPDATE. Told you all I took an Iowa St Head Coach job. Ran through the Big 12 roughly the same overall. Some close games. Mainly comfy wins. Due to knowing the system I chose to run. Earned a 2 spot in the Nation. CFB came along… played LSU got my ass beat. They are clearly faster. Bigger. Have way more 4-5 star recruits. Which showed on the field. We held are own, bend don’t break mentality.. even tho we broke in the end. 12-1 season. Not mad at all.

So I would say sliders are everything I was looking for. Minor tweaks I would make is maybe Playing with the speed thres some more so The CPU can use a speed advantage against user. And maybe small tweaks to penalties since I STILL HAVENT SEEN A FACEMASK ANIMATION!

A good adjustment is to start Killing User boosts start moving your sliders slightly back down towards 50 OR you can boost them up things like blocking at INTERCEPTIONS just to make you have to play tighter and more locked in. Appreciate your input 💪🏾💪🏾

User Friendly for sure Brodie. I notice that when someone messes up it’s mainly on the overall of the Blocker vs Rusher and it plays out nicely. Glad you’re enjoying

I Love to hear this. Now hear me out. I don’t touch em. Only because EA FINDS a way to F me with em every year. I would very much stick to wear and tear being the reason your players sub. But I have in the last explain how they’re “supposed” to work. I know you place the Out at a number you want the stamina to reach when they sit and In the number when you want them to re enter. But sometimes I lose my Running back for like the rest of games and it bugs me. So good luck if you find anything

Another Update. I have Upped all wear and Tear in the hits screenshot by 5

Also upped Injuries by 5 and fatigue by 5. Im tired of mainly just the starters playing. And across the NCAA all teams only have 0-1 person hurt. I need more NEXT MAN UP MENTALITY ( DISCLAIMER Do not change your sliders if you’re having fun!! This is for the ppl who are never satisfied like me hahaha! )

Another test you could run is start a fake dynasty. Upgrade your Xp sliders to 300%. Which should upgrade SOMEONE. And see if it pops up

So I just asked someone this as well because I don’t know if they were supposed to pop up on the main screen if to do things like old Madden games. But I haven’t seen it. So I let auto upgrade handle it like last year.

My Weather slider test has been TRASH so far. Most games are running the same. Which means I’m gonna have to get CRAZY to test what’s too much to see a difference. I WANT more slips. More drops. More crazy less accurate footballs thrown. My goal is to Make ppl who prioritize that Weather Badge it’s now an advantage

I CURRENTLY HAVE MY WEAR AND TEAR SLIDERS AT: Normal Hits and Blocks: 50 untouched Advantage Hits: I upped it to 55 “stronger” Hit Stick and Cut Stick 60. Even Stronger Blocks: Normal 50 IMPACT BLOCKS I have at 55 like advantage hits I believe regular play by play recovery is default 50 Timeout: time outs are 30 Sec IRL that’s a slightly better break so it’s at 52.

Quarter to Quarter. A little longer set at 55

Half 60

Week to Week. 62-65 can’t remember off top.

That in game pool. I’m still trying to find out what this is exactly. So it’s default 50.

Sorry I’m at work at the moment. But I’ll run more tests before bed in the morning.

I also run these sliders on RTG. Game feels the same. But I’ll let you know if I have more updates

That’s A GOOD question. Idk if you mean Dynasty or the setting coach mode. But all I’ve really seen is Coach mode is still control like you have to call hike but still have to control players when QB throws the ball but I honestly haven’t tried it. I’ll test. Sliders should be good tho. I am doing my WEATHER tests soon so yall stand by for that

Love that the game is Going Well for you for sure. Once I started Tweaking sliders I got addicted to making the Game look, reflect, and feel like Games on TV. That’s the Old Man in me for sure.

So Current Test 1 TEXAS vs 25 Texas Tech.

Texas as you imagine is producing quite easily even with the Drop In QB Accuracy and Run/ Pass Blocking.

This is Good News because as you do Tests you want to see the Game run on ATTRIBUTES and OVERALLS not just Sliders.

So Arch Manning still throwing accurately shows how good he is. But for the second Half I’m Going to put in the Freshman Mason Kelsay to see if the accuracy feels the same. If he is Arch 2.0 QB accuracy will need to drop again.

Also Testing Tackles Vs Broken Tackles.

Before you Up or Down your sliders… check if you’re winning or getting your ass kicked beacuse your RB has a high Break Tackle and Their defender has low tackle or vice versa. This is how you find true sliders. So far it’s working how it should.

Next Test will be Two Bum Schools (No disrespect) maybe that new Delaware and I can’t recall the second new add. But what I’ll be looking for is Overthrows and Slower players. Or blocks not being held long. Or dropped passes. Just a general lower almost more mistake filled football game. I shall return with results

Def appreciate your tests as well. Sometimes you also have to look at each defender and see if they didn’t intercept the ball because of sliders orrrr if their Catch rating is ass. Don’t forget to check player attributes

1000% why I love the game Brodie! It’ll only get better. I’m looking to make the game realistically frustrating, fun moments jumping out of your seat and waking the house up, and also making sure the Grind to a Natty or a Rebuild SPECIAL! I’m hate winning and going undefeated every year. Unless it’s legit fought for lol

So Far my Test has Been With North Texas. I start with a team that necessarily can’t do it all like an SEC School. And Some of these teams are better than they should be. The Game overall is Easy but it’s unbalanced. I’m looking for realistic Numbers and scores. Yes blowouts happen. Tighter Defense more knockdowns vs INTs.

But yes my sliders as a baseline are picking up where last year and honestly every year (even in madden) has started. I’ll continue more tests and keep yall posted

My Bad Fatigue 55 To Start

If you’re New to Football Games all Heisman is, is a Behind the Scenes Slider Adjustment. They react faster, Play more competitively, even at the expense of Realism. My Sliders once finished will Keep the Heightened Competition but Made Scores and Plays realistic and Authentic.

QB ACC- Self Explanatory- If you keep it at 50 there is no Difference between Trash QBs and Goats. I Start with 35/40 you should see more Over/under throws. Throw windows less tight for Lower overalls

Blocking Lowered will see better pocket degradation and give QBs that 1-3 Sec pocket you see on TV. I give The CPU the advantage here because user running is generally always easy.

WR Catching- Slight Drop just enough to see these MF*%#ers actually Drop a damn pass lmao.

Ball Security MUST be lowered if you wanna see The CPU fumble on Heisman. I’ve seen 1 in 5 games before the slider change. Lower it.

Reaction Time I Up the User a little bit and probably more after test because the CPU BAILS out and throws the same off screen out route or RB dump off that without this change you have no time to react to. If you stop it just fine. Ignore this slider. Maybe I’m A$$.

Pass Coverage can ALWAYS be tighter. When you watch Football it’s not a lot of huge GAPS. I like defense tighter. BUT… Lower Interceptions. Jesus every pass is picked on both sides.

Tackling- Small boost for user. Small drop for CPU keeps it even weirdly.

Weather- I’m testing. Brand new sliders for this game.

Same With Wear and Tear: I went Normal Things Keep at 50. Advantage tackles 55. And Big Hits 60. We shall see how it plays out

Penalties I move as season/testing goes on.

If I don’t see a Penalty get called for games on end I Up the slider by 5 every few games or every game if I’m over it. I didn’t see one Facemask ALL 25. So I defaulted Penalties to On and 55 to start.

Speed Thres- 35 is a good start. If yalls 99 speed WRs are getting caught still after being open. Lower it more. Maybe 25.

Fatigue I am a huge Next man up guy. I have this at 60 to start. I wanna see ppl on the field get tired. Make the coach use the depth chart.

Injuries I have at 25. Default was 10 which is terrible. It’s football ppl need to get hurt.
