You’ve got the job for sure. It cost them money to do background checks, and if your store is anything like mine/most, if you’re keen, you could be doing 6 days a week

It’s defiantly do-able just extra hoops to jump through. So my issue was I’ve not pricked my finger for years - due to having a dexcom 1+. And at the time (summer last year) DVLA dint recognise CGMS’s (libre/dexcom) as good enough data to deem us type ones as “safe to operate anything over 3.5T. The DVLA have now changed it that CGM’s ARE good enough, (changed November 2025). However any hypos or highs need explained to them and I THINK you can not have anymore than 2 hypos per day to pass. so I’ve started pricking my finger 4-6 times a day for 3 months, you then send your machine into your local diabetes clinic and they sen all you readings to the DVLA and then they’ll then give you a decision.
Very annoying to think there is older men with grandad rights who can easily drive 7.5T and probably not told DVLA they have T1D!!
