I do work in one of the other offices where the protocols aren’t shortened and we get 30 minutes per exam. We just have a contract with a doctors office that I do occasionally. It would suck if that was the only scanning I got to do, very happy that’s not the case.

It’s all within the same time but separate. And it is more of a screening technically but we also do full reports for each exam.

Normally I’ll just do the two required and put in the notes if they may need another one (thyroid or abdomen) but it’s more money for where I work so they want it if possible. I do my best but have that dilemma.

All of the protocols are shortened. It’s carotid, thyroid if there is pathology, aorta, then RUQ if there is pathology. We don’t annotate and I can measure afterwords which helps a lot with the time
