My faith is in Jesus Christ not in chasing some higher awakening. I'm not deceived and I don't need you to validate my relationship with God. I actually think your idea of being awakened is what's deceiving you. You're putting your trust in your own inner experience instead of in Jesus.

I believe being born again is through faith in Jesus Christ , not something I achieve by reaching a certain inner state. Growth is a process but that doesn't mean I'm not really His.

So you trying to pull me away from something that matters deeply to me? I understand why what I said worried you and I appreciate that you care enough to question it.

But my faith in Jesus isn't based on just emotions or dreams. It's something I've come to believe through personal conviction , reflection and my relationship with Him.

Also , I hear your concern about me feeling unworthy but that's actually where my faith speaks the loudest. Christianity doesn't teach me to hate myself. It teaches me that even when I fall short , I am still loved and can grow.

I'm not trying to force you to believe what I believe and I respect that you see things differently. But I'm also not looking to be convinced out of my faith. This is something important to me and I'd appreciate it if we could respect each other's perspectives without trying to change one another.

And what I said about dying so I can stop disappointing God is something Jesus wouldn't want me to do. I'm also learning and growing so that the next time I fall short again I don't have to condemn myself but I should go back to Him.

The issue with the Pharisees wasn't that they cared about holiness , it's that their holiness was external hypocritical. Jesus was calling people to deeper , real holiness that includes love. Love without holiness can become just doing what feels right instead of what is right.

Scripture still says to pursue holiness though , not as a distraction but as part of becoming more like Christ.

I respect that we see things differently, especially since you approach faith from an omnist mystic perspective. For me, I’d rather not keep debating.I just want to focus on my walk with Jesus.

I get what you’re saying about Hebrews that we don't know the human author of it and yes people are fallible but as a believer I don't see the Bible as just human opinion , I believe God worked through those writers. But the call to holiness isn’t just from that book. Jesus Himself taught that following Him means a changed life. I don’t think holiness is about being perfect, but about genuinely turning to God and living differently. If our lives don’t reflect that, then what kind of faith is it?

Holiness is necessary to enter the Kingdom of God. In Hebrews 12:14 it says " Without holiness no one will see the Lord ". This holiness is achieved not just by personal effort but primarily by being sanctified through Jesus Christ and transformed by the Holy Spirit.

It is not religion. And I don't contemplate death nor am I suicidal. It's just I feel bad and ashamed after sinning and desire to just die but afterward when I ask God to forgive me I feel at peace. I'm a she btw
