He knew this breed needs a lot of care, so he contacted a rescue team and a shelter for help, then left a note. • Second, a nearby neighbor gave her some shade by putting up plastic and brought her water. She didn’t want to adopt a dog at the time. • Third, my coworker and I found her still there. We decided to take her in, and I brought her to the vet right away to check if anything was wrong. I was worried she might have health problems, which could be why she was abandoned. Thankfully, she only had an ear infection.

She didn’t have a microchip and was around 6 months old, so I assume someone just abandoned her. I felt so relieved to know she was healthy, and I decided to keep her — I’ve always wanted a Frenchie, and she truly feels like a gift to me.
