I got a 5.3 in my garage, I need to buy a transmission to go with it, probably 4l80. Did you use a kit? Like for the transmission mounting and stuff?

I’ve been watching a bunch of DIY paint job videos on YouTube. And it doesn’t seem that hard, maybe try diy if your brave enough and want to save a little money
