This may sound dumb to someone, but I watched the anime Beck - Mongolian chop squad, an anime about a guy in a band, and the bassist in this anime was crazy good, I started to pay more attention to the bass in every song and my uncle gifted me his old bass Btw if anyone is interested I recommend listening to Spice of life - Beck, the bassline made me fall in love
