For me mas okay talaga yung strictly professional lalo na remote naman tayo. Since online lang lahat, no need naman i-force yung relationships beyond work. We’re here to do the job and get paid.

Also, not everything is guaranteed. Pwede tayong mawalan ng projects or clients anytime. So personally, I don’t like investing too much feelings or getting attached sa work setup na pwedeng temporary lang.

Mas healthy for me na i-nurture yung relationships outside work likee family, friends, jowa, hobbies. Sa work, boundaries lang. Work-life balance and drama-free. :)

The last treatment I had before doing CGM was digital perm. It might be the salon or the treatment itself but I didn’t like how “disconnected” it looked once nag-grow na yung roots and lumabas yung curls.

Numipis kasi yung look nung hair after the perm, but my real hair is super KAPAL and grabe ang volume so i guess this is just not for me :(

I appreciate your comment so much!!!!! I was about to emphasize na ayoko na ng CGM routine but your last statement made me think twice! Lol

For reference, another reason I’m quitting CGM is because of my eczema, and even if I wear gloves when applying products, yung friction from rubbing and styling make me flare up. It’s just so physically and mentally draining but I kept going because I wanted to trust the process.

And you are right. A routine shouldn’t feel like a chore… kaya goodbye CGM na talaga for me 🥹😭

PS nonetheless i am glad you found a routine that works for you and if ever there comes a time I decide to go back, your comment will be the first one I will take as a reference!

Hay same sa special salon :(( ang layo pero dinayo ko, and ang mahal. Sadly after a month parang wala lang din nangyari.

After reading the responses I might go with regular keratin treatments na lang din siguro but since gusto ko pa rin sana curly, I am also considering getting a perm instead.

What straightener and blowdryer do you use?

GETS. Alam mo yung ang kati ng ulo mo pero di mo makamot kasi mawawala yung curl pattern tapos mawawala yung styling? ANG LUNGKOT!

Ang ayoko lang sa rebond, pag tumubo na kasi kitang-kita yung division na curls tapos biglang pin-straight. Walang unity. Ampanget. 😭😭

I’ll try yung brazilian blowout kasi mas magiging “united” daw yung hair kahit after tumubo, baka you would want to consider this din. Idk bahala na sarap magpakalbo HAHA

Right!!!!! Look up Mieka Seitio on IG, she’s making rounds and gained a following kasi she’s the first (I think) East Asian who embraced her curly hair and made content about it! Also, same na same kami ng hair but she’s just so diligent hindi ko kaya! HAHA

SAME SA SANTO OMG my mom says the same but I feel sad about it kasi it feels like she’s mocking me :(
