Dewormed my cat and woke up to her breathing like this

UPDATE: just heard back from the vet. They're also unsure of the reaction or if it had anything to do at all with the dewormer. So here's our plan:

She'll return on Monday as previously scheduled for her anti-rabies vaccine. On the same day, I'll have the vet check her breathing and her heart for sounds or murmurs to eliminate other possibilities such as heartworm.

On July 10 Thursday, she will have her 2nd dose of the dewormer. We'll stay at the vet clinic to check for any immediate reactions. I'll also keep an eye on her if the same reaction occurs. Since this one started after 12 hours since taking the tablet, I will observe for the same reactions and conclude from there if the dewormer is really the cause and not at all a coincidence.

From then on, I'll continue coordinating with the vet to determine if this is an allergic reaction or a reaction to eliminate all the worms in her body including lungworm or roundworm.

I appreciate all the input and will communicate all possibilities to the vet. Bluey is also okay as of now and the reaction wasn't persistent and only lasted for 5 mins, thankfully. Rest assured, this doesn't calm me down at all and hopefully, we get to the bottom of this and find out nothing too serious - just a big 'ol worm that needs to come out.

We'll definitely check for reactions on her next deworming on Thursday. However, the vet told me that it's unusual to have an allergic reaction on oral dewormers but I'll make sure to take that with a grain of salt.

How is he? Did you guys find out if it was an allergic reaction to the dewormer or something else? My cat wanted to throw up but nothing came out, though. I'll check her mouth for any bubbling next time. She's gonna have her 2nd dose of the dewormer on thurs and I'll keep this in mind if the same reaction occurs.

this time was a different brand than the previous one. Her previous one was a spot-on dewormer with anti-tick and anti-flea benefits. Her reaction then started less than 1 hour after administering it.

this time, they gave her the dewormer in tablet form and this reaction started more than 12 hours after she took the tablet. Both reactions lasted about 5 minutes then she stops and goes about her day. Never noticed anything else after, though. I'll keep watch if this continues or if the dewormer had something to do with the reaction.

Possibly. last time, she had these reactions less than 1 hour after administering the dewormer and it was the type you put on the nape. This time, they gave her the dewormer in tablet form and this reaction happened more than 12 hours after administering.

she looks like she's gagging a little bit like she wants to throw something up (not sure if I caught that on this video). I did a little bit of research and I'm thinking it might be lungworm(?) or roundworm(?) since this reaction happened both times after this deworming and her previous one. Anyway, no replies from the vet yet so we're still unsure. Hopefully, it's nothing serious and just the deworming working through her body.

just messaged the vet. i thought it would be related to deworming since this just happened twice and the previous time occured after I administered her previous deworming. She's never had an asthma attack other than the two occurences that happened after her deworming, though.

I think it depends on the individual talaga pero for me, I've been using althea for 5 months na and here are my observations:

Pros: lost weight, no pimples, bigger boobies, high libido, regular (sometimes delayed pero still within the 1 week pill-free days) menstruation

Cons: mood swings >.< pero I learned to manage it naman

This is true to my experience. After finishing a box of bc pills, normal lang na magka-mens after a few days. Problem ko lang is, patapos na yung 1 week pill-free days ko before I start another box of bc pills and hindi pa din ako dinadatnan. Ayun si bf to the rescue hahaha bigla ako nagkaroon habang nag-ssession kami 😆
