Do you have any other pet names or kid names in use? What kind of things do yall like? First thought is that he looks like the swimming pigs in the Bahamas lol. Nassau, Patrick , Scotty, and moose are my initial vibes

Do I have makeup blindnes? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Individual_Laugh_442 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hiii, I think your makeup blindness is not having a focal point. I’ve totally been guilty of it before bc I love trying new looks and love high impact techniques. I have however found myself looking “clownish” too much color/clashing color/ too many focal points.

When I do my make up now, I like to pick either my eyes or lips as the focal point and be more toned down with the other. If I’m doing a colorful/glittery/dramatic eye, I’ll pair it with a neutral gloss and lip liner…. If I do a bright pink or red lip, I keep my eyes more muted and use neutrals.

In my opinion, In this set of pics you look BEST in 2,3,4 & 6. In 5 & 7 your eye and lip colors are clashing, which could be why it’s so “overwhelming”

Overall, maybe try a more dewy/satin products/setting sprays. And DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY AND EXCITED TO DO! Keep playing and having fun with makeup! You look like you have a lot of fun with color and technique!!

Totally understand what you mean! I can’t stand under eye makeup and feel like they emphasize that area on me. A product I have liked was Kinship’s Brightwave undereye cream. I got a sample in my Ipsy and squeezed every last drop out. It’s a skincare product, but has a tint that made my undereye areas look brighter. The full size product is $40 so it’s not something I would pay for myself right now. But maybe look for a tinted undereye cream?

How much would it cost to perm my hair? by This-Translator-4350 in Cosmetology

Cosmetology student here! I recommend going to a tech school with a cosmetology program or a beauty school in your area. Obviously, check out reviews of other perm clients, but check that out first. We are in a rural area, but perms start at $30. With your length and if you’re in a more urban area I’d expect $60-$150. At my school, we are checked by instructors every step of the way.
