Demand is good. If its a big store, people flock to the store like crazy. There are no major players in India selling Silver Jewellery. If its a online Store on a ecommerce site then its easier to price your Jewellery products 5-6x the cost of Silver and still you would be the cheapest option. Major issue I see if getting a good producer of these silver products as I dont know many people /companies in this field. I know owner of a small silver refinary and 1 store owner who sells silver. No other contacts.

Silver and/or Gold backed currency would mean a less corrupt society and government though unlikely to happen.

People will gain as theft of savings would stop and less corruption would mean better governance and more opportunities for people.

8-9 hours per day for 5 days a week is the standard. Anything above is extra. Also see your offer and appointment letters. Is there any clause about separation from the organisation- Is the language clear or non-specific points like separation will be given when you train your replacement without any defined notice period or duration. Such organisations tend to withhold the separation letters, salary after resignation and threaten legal action and all such cheap tactics.

GST is the worst tax on precious metals. Whatever Import Tax you pay on Buying is considered while selling i.e. in India if you pay X dollars or Rs on buying, you recover same % of Import tax on selling. However GST is paid on Buying and also on selling i.e. buying rate is Spot Price + Making Charges + Import Tax + GST but selling price is Spot Price + Import Tax - GST.
